Yes have a few, but there's absolutely no need to get pissed. You're at a concert, not a party. Take That fans are insufferable enough as it is, alcohol makes the whole situation a hundred times worse!

Worse! You now have Take That AND Robbie fans!

I never drink at concerts themsleves, usually whoever i go to the concert with we have about 3-4 pints before we start queing and then we go for a few after, id have no comfort drinking at a concert anyhow and knowing my luck i would spill it all over someone!!

And me the week after :D

As for me, I hardly ever drink at concerts, but that's usually because I'm already skint once I've bought the ticket :/

Robbie reckons sunday night in dublin was a life changing moment for him. I know people who were at the dublin shows and said it was bloddy amazing the atmosphere from start to finish was electric, hopefully the weekend shows will be enough to see progressed hit number 1 in ireland this friday as currently its peak is #3.

Is Robbie really that bad live?. I've heard his voice is far inferior to Gary's..........

He isn't the best singer in the world but he does entertain. At Manchester I'd say he got the noisiest reception (but Take That's opening was very, very subdued indeed). I'd probably say that Gary does have a better voice but Rob is better 'all round'. I found his banter sounded more natural and although both were probably well scripted in advance - Rob's sounded as though it was the first time he'd said it.

Based on singing alone gary is by far the best singer between him and robbie, for entertainmentship robbie would be better than gary.

Watching the youtube clips....... Robbie seems not to be able to hit the notes anymore. He seems to scream all the time.........

Gary definately has the better voice.

Robbie never really was great as the high notes, robbiein my opinion would never win a singing competition and his song writing can be hit and miss, as an entertainer though he walk away with any competition, his entertainment value is strong and that mixed with reasonable vocal talent has done him huge in the past and no dount will again, ive always liked garys voice and he can also be good at hitting the high notes although he doesnt seem to do as many anymore.

I really don't understand why Gary went to X Factor and not to The Voice (which format seems to me more serious ). Instead should have Robbie went to X factor. I do hope Robbie won't be judge to The Voice or the world is upsidedown!

I won't be happy to hear Robbie screaming instead of singing. IFor me the antics, the props are second to the "singing". Thyt is way i want to hear someone live! I went to REM gig and they have only a small screen, that was all, but i got no second bored, so wonderful was the singing.

I saw it last night and I'm so pleased that it exceeded my expectations by miles. It wasn't perfect, the opening was the most god awful thing I've ever seen and a complete disappointment, the setlist choices I still feel were a bit dodgy in places and the way it was structured into three parts wasn't great either but as a whole it was fantastic and much better than The Circus tour imo. I loved the Progress section personally, the album tracks were incredible live. I even liked Robbie's set and I'm so glad he performed his best song; Come Undone. But they really should've opened as a five piece with The Flood, it was pretty epic stuff!

The opening was incredibly lacklustre for me too - there does seem to be a general concensus of opinion all around that the opening with the TT4 is the weakest part of the whole night. Having said that - its best to start off weak and get better than the other way around. When I saw them in Manchester - the whole thing did burst into life upon Rob's entrance.

I have to disagree that as a whole it didn't impress me as much as The Circus - but this is probably because it was so disjointed (excellent in parts and weak in others - whereas The Circus was more uniformly brilliant and cohesive).

Kath

It was definitely disjointed, and it could've been better, but I just thought the majority of the show was a lot slicker than Circus and I really did enjoy all the Progress stuff. And as much as I hate to admit it.....Robbie really did bring (back) some fresh energy to the group.

As i didnt go to the tour i will have to wait and judge it from the dvd but i still think the circus would be hard t top as i really felt they nailed that tour and got it spot on.

Ok, i am the only one then, who was not impressed by The Circus tour visuals then? Apart from the opening, who was brilliant, i didn't liked too much... I find The Beautiful World so intelligent, so full of small details and not that kind of show "look here how much money we invested". I saw once the DVDof The Circus (in cinema, big screen), was not impressed so i didn't even bought the DVD. I saw now some songs on youtube and i am more impressed as i was at The Circus. Some really thought there, more dark, more subtle. Not so good as Beautiful world tour, but better than The Circus.

ANd i am still not sold to Robbie. For me he is only someone who overdo whatever he makes.... Yelling and jumping is NOT my kind of entertainment. That judging also from the on-line videos.

I enjoyed The Circus immensely, but nowhere near as much as everybody else seemed to. And I agree that Progress was better than The Circus but not as good as Beautiful World which was my favourite concert ever. I've been to quite a few shows in the four years since BW and it still hasn't been topped.

I'm so glad that you (and Iris) seem to prefer the Beautiful World Tour over even The Circus - because I think I do too. It was clever - and the Relight My Fire on the BW tour was the best its ever been - in no small part due to the fabulous Lloyd Webb (?) doing the Lulu bit - mixing it with Gnarls Barkley's Crazy (I did think the vocals of Loleatta Holloway on The Circus let the song down - even though I appreciate them bringing the original singer back for it - her vocals just were NOT up to it.) I think Never Forget on BW was excellent too - oh hell - the whole thing was better.

Mind you - there is one thing on the Ultimate Tour which trumps anything on BW, TC or Progress - and that is the fabulous tangoed rendition of It Only Takes A Minute. I think it was hearing and seeing this that made me a Take That fan.
