Posted February 23, 201114 yr Plan B has revealed plans for a charity single to be released in aid of the victims of last years floods in Pakistan. The rapper is set to lay down the track with Elton John and Paloma Faith later this month. The song will be an updated version of his own “Hard Times”, and proceeds will be pumped into funding aid for those who lost their homes during the disaster last year Speaking to The Sun, Plan B said “Kids were dying and it wasn’t promoted over here. Haiti was promoted when that happened but it didn’t happen for Pakistan.” This will be the rapper’s first charity single release, and of course being one of his own songs it will provide a bit of support for his own work as well as helping out the needy of Pakistan. Paloma Faith is also taking her first lead on such a release while Elton John is no stranger to charity singles. There is no release date yet for the single. According to various websites. I'm not sure this will have much effect on the charts but it's certainly an interesting combination of artists. 'Hard Times' is one of my favourite tracks on the album actually. Maybe Plan B should re-release the album with this version and the Chase + Status tracks?
