Any partciular reason you only have a rounded figure for One Direction but exact figures for the rest? :P

(Also, by the by, Professor Green and Labrinth are missing from the list).

I think Someone Like You deserved the #1 more than Born This Way.

It had four other weeks there though.

And I missed a few others (#2s) that sold over 100k

Labrinth's figure is now the odd one out in being rounded :kink:

2010 seems to be the turning point - before then they're all either X-Factor tie-ins or novelty/charity releases, 'Bonkers' notably bucking the trend. Iyaz selling 106k of Replay was a big shock at the time although benefitted from everyone using their iTunes gift cards/new iPods at the start of January...it's from California Gurls onwards we really start to see a change, and that 2012 list is just insane.

There's already been more 100k+ sellers from Jan-May 2013 than there were in the entire years of 2006, 2007 or 2008!

2012

12 May 122,000 Tulisa - Young

13 Oct 105,000 Rihanna – Diamonds

10 Nov 137,000 Robbie Williams – Candy

10 Nov 102,000 Labrinth feat. Emile Sandê – Beneath Your Beautiful (#2)

2013

04 May 155.000 Daft Punk feat. Pharrell Williams – Get Lucky

These could do with being replaced with their actual totals instead of these rough ones... also Rudimental have been omitted entirely :P

13 Oct 105,953 Rihanna - Diamonds

2013

27 Apr 107,099 Rudimental feat. Ella Eyre - Waiting All Night

04 May 155,215 Daft Punk feat. Pharrell - Get Lucky

18 May 123,112 Daft Punk feat. Pharrell - Get Lucky

25 May 113,883 Daft Punk feat. Pharrell - Get Lucky

(Incidentally where on Earth did the spelling 'Emile Sandê' come from?!)

With the help from Haven, I've updated the first post back to February 1995, in some weeks the #2 track would have sold triple figures as week.

I've got some 100k figures for songs that didn't make the top spot, if you want them!

Although I think that Liamk would be better for this because he's recorded all the figures for the songs that I get my sources from!

Any additions are welcome, it be nice to have a very concise thread topic.

Only for the 21st century though, can't help with the 90s. :D

I can PM you, Martin, what I do have though. I make 197 #1s, 34 #2s and 7 #3s selling over 100k in the 21st century.

Okay, this is what I've got so far. I know that everything isn't in this list yet but I'll edit it over the next few days to make it complete! Thanks to Music Week for supplying the sales.
