Good to see that Red One was actually pretty hands on in the recording of this song!

From what I hear, he barely had anything to do with Love Generation's song.

You put far too much stock in rumours! Dance Alone is COVERED in RedOne hallmarks, I honesty can't see what more he personally could've brought to it to make it more RedOne if he wasn't behind it...

Ooh, this could well turn out to be my favourite Russian entry to date. The fact it's Alexey alone is great, but RedOne too! :o

Finally a decent Russian entry!

I really liked Vorobyov's song in the 2008 Russian selection. Sadly it was overshadowed by Bilan. [i also fell in love with Lazarev thanks to that preselection thank you very much]

Glad Vorobyov is going for Eurovision and with RedOne!

Russia has so much potential but for some reason they've been resorting to former-USSR divas and garage bands.

Where's Vintaj? Where's Sergey Lazarev? Sabrina Gadzhikaibova? The list goes on...

Hopefully this one will be as amazing as Song #1, which remains my favourite Eurovision track EVER!

lol wrong thread.

This will be amazing, and we're going back to Russia in 2012 clearly!

God I know. He's ORGASMIC!!!

There's even MORE! There's one of him naked on a horse in front of a bizarre painting, it's genuinely hilarious.

this tandem has possibilities. will reserve my judgement until after i hear the song. pretty optimistic at this point though.

might that be the first time since Alsou that Russia would be one of my favs?

so thats the song ^

it has potential! looking forward to the studio/hq version!

Nice. Well infinitely better than last two years' entries at least!
Hmm...doesn't sound much like a winner to me, but then the sound quality is too poor to tell, annoying clapping audience :nocheer:

Hmm...it sounds great, thou it was a huge dissepointment :( Can't wait for studio/better quality

Alex >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Dima. All these pictures I'm seeing :o

Song sounds like it should be really good once in HQ

Why ugh? RedOne's arguably the best pop producer in the world right now :o

Exactly because of that. If the so called "powerhouses" start resorting to getting the best world producers, suddenly it'll be like turning the show into who has hired the best superproducer and it'll be a contest between them rather than the song and what's unique about each country. It would be fine if RedOne was russian I guess, but that's not the case.

Fair comment. Although the UK can't really judge seeing as Blue have worked with Stargate again for their entry, who are also easily up there with RedOne and Max Martin/Dr Luke as the world's best producers.

Stargate have had a history of producing for UK pop acts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stargate_production_discography

They started out with S Club 7 and 5ive. If anything the UK has as much a claim to Stargate as the Norwegians have seeing as they have done considerably more work with UK artists than anyone else.

I think that attracting some of the big names to the contest is actually a good thing, it'll help shake of the view in parts of Western Europe that it's pure bubblegum pop and it's cheesy and outdated. And as Sweden proved last week and the week before, just because something is produced by RedOne doesn't mean it's automatically going to do well.

Maybe not quite but although he's a great producer and easily amongst the best in the world, he's had his fair share of throwaway moments - Jada and Flipsyde spring to mind. Even the best artists/producers misfire sometimes. Dance Alone was decent but I'm not devastated that it didn't progress further, it's far from one of his strongest moments.
