Totally off topic - has anybody here been paintballing. And ... has anyone ever heard of a company called IPGVIP (International Paintblling Group - VIP). I have a story to tell!

No. :o

I've never been. Far too energetic for me. :drink:

About a month (maybe two) months ago - I was wandering around (meandering as you do) the shopping centres in Wigan - at the same time wondering what to plan for my son's birthday party (14th in August). All of a sudden there appeared one of these promotional stands! IPG VIP - offering paintballing at 'amazingly discounted prices' at the Delta Force paintballing sites. To cut a long story short - I was a bit ripped off. I ended up paying £60 up front with the possibility of having to pay another £200 (at least) for the kids to enjoy a full day. Had I booked directly with Delta Force I could have got a 'young guns' special (for a party) - 300 balls and a pizza lunch thrown in for £25 per head!

To cut a long story short - finally I got my refund today. I think I'm going to take the kids go-karting instead! Unless someone can suggest an energetic activity for a group of six 14 year olds!

My kids have been paintballing. They came home full of bruises.

Seriously? You see - this is another lie I was told at the promotional stand in Wigan!!!!!!!

I think paintballing should be for older teens tbh, it can be quite rough even with the protective gear on.

How about bowling? then a meal, or cinema for the kids. Will still cost a fortune though.

@ Jups, your sig dissappeared when you put my knickers on show -_-

Some people at my work went. A few of them appeared all bruised too. Apparently it can be quite painful.

This is what hubby suggested! It may be a bit expensive but at least you have some control over what's happening.

Personally I'd like to shock them all by announcing that I'm taking them on a cultural tour of Liverpool! A visit to the Museum and then the Walker Art Gallery (where they can ponder the nudes) then go for a pizza! I'm not sure what the reaction would be though!

I'll keep you posted as to what we decide!

Has to be better than having 6 fourteen years olds in your house  takes ages to clear the mess up

and it gets worse when they are older

I cannot believe that you have a fourteen year old! I always imagine you as a 25 year old bombshell!

Speaking of which - my lad's going to a sleepover (camping in someone's garden) along with another four 14 year olds tomorrow! I suppose its one way of keeping the house fairly tidy!
