Hopefully SLY Live will be back up to #13 soon as PT[2] and TTWE are surely due for massive drops soon :unsure: TTWE seems to be holding up amazingly well for a song which has nothing to sell itself on except Britney loons. Unless there's some other promotion it has that I'm unaware of?

 

Wiz is still at #10. This is disappointing, I was fully expecting it to rocket upwards once it got top 10. Meh, I don't think it's peaked yet and I don't think it'll peak this week anyway (although hopefully it'll get a top 10 début :P)

What's with all these random songs going up the itunes charts, like Teenage Dirtbag and There She Goes?

 

Possibly another mass reduction of prices? A few weeks back loads and loads of songs were cut to 59p and they invaded the top 200.

They stay at 59p AFAIA, Lose Yourself is definitely still 59p.

 

Is there some sort of advertising for the price cuts? It seems odd that all the cut priced songs climb so much so quickly :unsure:

And I was about to ask the same. I can't imagine people go around specifically looking for songs that are 59p...

 

If the songs indeed are climbing that fast due to a non-advertised price cut, then that suggests that selling a song for 59p from the get-go would greatly increase its sales, chart positions, etc. Although you might make less money from the song, which is probably what they care about most over chart peaks, etc.

None of the songs from the last mass price cut went top 40 again, the highest was Pack Up which got back to #42, followed by Unfaithful at #50. The highest this time will probably be Wheatus. In a way I want it to go top 40 just to see how Reggie reacts to it but in a way I don't want it to go top 40 because it's f***ing awful.

But Lose Yourself was reduced to 59p last time aswell, which suggests that they actually did put the price back up again afterwards last time?

 

And still so happy Black and Yellow is now top 10!! Yes, I know it's just one song, and even more it replaced a duplicate of a song in the top 10, but still. :lol: There's just now a song that I'm absolutely loving there. The best before was S&M, which is great, but not absolutely amazing like her previous load of singles.
