I just listened to the song, and I quite like it. :) I can see it doing well in the US. Not sure about the UK. I think most people here will find it a bit of a non-event when they hear it on the radio. At least with Poison it sort of caught your attention, at how loud it was, etc. :lol:

 

Perhaps they'll change the instrumental for the single release.

We can all listen to the album over and over again but let us be blind-sided by any Nicole LOVING but put this track next to anything on UK radio atm and it's TERRIBLE (which says something in itself). It's bland, inoffensive, dishwater sort of pop music. It'll achieve nothing in these realms and why should it? Such a limp song.

 

Even greater than that I'd like to see WHY her US label believe this would do anything in the USA. JUST WHY. How does this sort of song LAUNCH a career?! It is reminiscent of 'Baby Love' for aesthetic and depth. Insults enough...

If they waited for it to be a US bomb/smash then we wouldn't get a single here for months on end. I think we just have to accept that this is the single.

I think it will still get top 20! I think we should expect at least 5 singles from this era though! The album is still top 30!

I don't particularly think 'Wet' is that good. The Chorus is dull, the verses overshadow it.

 

'Say Yes' is a summer smash waiting to happen. :wub:

I'm still only lukewarm on the idea of this, I don't think it's the best single choice either, but nor do I think it's going to be a complete disaster anymore as I originally did when I heard this was single #3. I hope we get Killer Love or Say Yes for single #4 (and #5 if we get that far), much as I love Wet I think it might not be a great single choice.

She looks amazing in the pics from the vid shoot, which will hopefully sell the song. Dont see it being too much of hit over here. I agree with most, Wet would have been the best choice = Summer tune!!

Not top 1000, the only songs that are are DHYB and Poison at #346.

I've got a bad feeling it's going to flop something hardcore.
