E.T. is at least climbing quite quickly now and having two versions will help it a lot. It's picking up airplay and it'll probably go top 10 after the video release. I can't see it going higher than 6 or 7 though.

I'm still not bored of Eyes Wide Shut I think its my favourite JLS single, actually it definitely is, with One Shot close behind.

Imma Be got to #1 on US iTunes and failed to go top 40 on UK iTunes, however. I doubt E.T. will do that bad though.

Get ready, it could hit the UK like that in a few months. They're all original songs, so I have a strong feeling that they're going to do much better than the past covers have done.

It's quite normal for that to happen in the US. On a lot of weeks there's been like 5 Glee tracks in the US iTunes top 10. This week isn't that much better than a usual Glee week, so by UK standards it probably means they're going to have one song top 20 and another 2 in the top 40 or something.

 

The most Glee we've had was when Don't Stop Believin', It's My Life/Confessions and Halo/Walking On Sunshine were all in the top 10 on iTunes.

I've seen more than a couple Glee songs in the top 10 on US iTunes on many occasions. Seeing 4+ in there isn't particularly rare. Even when I checked their iTunes this afternoon, I wasn't particularly surprised at how it was now. It was surprising after the first episode, but now it just seems normal. :lol:

its been getting radio airplay I presume - this should give it even more of a boost

It was the 40th most played song on the radio last week. That said, it's doing very well to be at #12. It's really not a huge amount of airplay it's gotten so far. But on the other hand, it's not like it's selling off no promotion.

 

Birdy, however, is an example of a song that's doing very well at the moment off very little promotion, I think.
