I happened to see The Wanted up there and thought "what the hell?!" On air/on sale has really f***ed this up for them. They better not use it again on their pre-album singles... but they will... -_-

I agree on air really has not helped them and I hope they don't stop getting playlisted because of this.

AFU we are apparently going to hear soon ( next month) So I can see the girls promoting notorious. Video for AFU then promote europe and allow the airplay & video help AFU before promoting it during release week! Then ill be happy!

Where has this info come from about us hearing All Fired Up next month?

Won't be long till you hear the xeno songs they've done. Very different!

 

I'm assumig, as won't be long sounds like the end of july or something. I assume this will be a september release which would fit in perfect followed by a November release before the album.

The more it looks like 3, the more I believe it's 2, especially if they're doing OA/OS. Examples are Lady Gaga's 'Judas', and JLo's 'Im Into You'.. both released before the album a good month in advance using OA/OS. I hope they're not expecting Notorious to last us untill the release of All Fired Up in.. October..

I think they have realised they have f***ed this up MAJORLY. I think Radio 1 will overlook this flop as long as the next single is EPICLY AMAZING! I hope it stays top 40 next week.

And to think this was #5 on iTunes at one point. I bet if they actually released the CD and remixes and held back the release and promoted it like they always do this would have been #1. :lol:

I know this isn't the exact place to ask but it's kind of relevant lol but what were Parade's sales for 'Louder'? it would just be interesting to compare the two

Parade debuted at number #10 outsold Notorious I believe and had a better chart run :L It seems that Wonderland & Parade could be gaining fans while Sats decrease.

Fair enough, Notorious has bombed and has barely sold anything and with upcoming promo I still believe it will sell reasonably well.

You can't say it's really bombed in all fairness yet, It's airplay is awful. If the airplay picks up then they will increase up the charts and they will increase majorly up charts when promotion kicks in... maybe a factor in them dropping down airplay could have been because of summertime ball.

 

36 on iTunes. I hope they could remain to a top 35 placing this week! Remixes and physicals and promotion will get them top 20 I believe a week later.

Okay just comparing Parade and The Sats (Why Not? :P ) and it seems 'Louder' and 'Notorious' have had very similar chart runs Louder went 10-25-32-OUT with Notorious going 8-21-33- BUT The Saturdays started off with no airplay and have not started the main bulk of their promotion yet ^_^ I doubt it's going to stay top 40 this week tbh I think it will just msis out but then rebound back in the week after

If it stays Top 40 this week then the chart stats will look very good. A post-album single will trickle up the Top 100 and into the Top 40, whereas Notorious is already Top 40, and with the promo it should stay Top 40 for a bit while longer IF they pull this off. I just feel with the lack of radio support they'll find it hard to achieve.
