This of course being the reason why Girls Aloud, Pussycat Dolls, Furtado, Cascada are all still in and possibly contenders to win.

OH WAIT.

The 2006 game has surely if anything gone against the BJ stereotype.

I do agree actually, I never expected the likes of Razorlight, The Kooks, The Automatic, My Chemical Romance and Orson to beat the likes of these Buzzjack-friendly artists

Agree! Why do people still whining! If you compare it with 2010 results it's no way what everyone thought it would be!

Do you mean 2009's? We haven't done 2010's yet.

2010 will be interesting though. Telephone, Firework, Rude Boy, California Gurls, Starstruk, What's My Name?, Teenage Dream, Bad Romance, Only Girl, If We Ever Meet Again. Yeah, that's the final 10 for that year. (Although that's way better than this year's top 10, even if it is a bit uniform in terms of the genres and the artists...).

Yep 2009!

For once again there is going to be the classic battle: Rihanna VS Katy VS GaGa! -_-

 That could get really heated.

And yeah, Rude Boy probably won't make the top 10. I doubt Starstrukk will either.

The only surprise left is MCR, Snow Patrol and MAYBE Orson (although I think this was bland enough to slip under the radar, so I'm not that surprised).

The rest I did expect to still be here at this time, yes.

I'd only say it goes against the BuzzJack stereotype if either Gnarls Barkley or Take That (as My Chemical Romance, Orson and Snow Patrol clearly will be out probably in the next 3 rounds) wins. But it's obviously going to be a victory for either Nelly Furtado, P!nk, Rihanna and perhaps Shakira is in with a shout too. Not going against any stereotype. BuzzJack doesn't hate male acts so much they won't let them slip into the bottom of the top 10 or so of these kind of things!

I agree that 2009 was more predictable though. But to be honest I was more surprised with some of the songs that were did well in 2007 and 2008 then here.

I think it's not about the winner cause yep probably in this and next years female acts (guess we will have some classic dance tracks too) will be the winners! But here, Rihanna, Beyonce, Christina, Justin, PCD, Girls Aloud, Nelly all left! And we still have Gnarls Barkley (imo this should be the winner), MCR, Snow Patrol, Orson, TT! So, i guess is not as BJ friendly as it could have been!

FULLY AGREED - but it's always the way round here - if it aint camp, flappy-armed girly pop or faux-diva hollering, the gayers on BJ vote it out, bless 'em - let's be honest - I'd say a better indication of the best songs of the year are looking at these results - in reverse.

Russt68 thinks It's Chico Time was the best song of 2006? :D

To shorten the rounds. From now on, if after 24 hours its still a draw then both songs will leave. There will no longer be any 48 hour rounds (unless I dont have time to start a new round lol).

New round starts at 6.

Also, as of Monday. All new rounds will start at 9pm and finish at 9pm the following day.

It's not just the winner though. The top 3 will consist of any three of those acts. Gnarls Barkley will come 4th or 5th (as is always the usual glass ceiling for male songs in these kinds of competition). I'm too observant to not know how this site works by now :D

I agree that Crazy should win though. It's been my favourite the whole way through, while I've watched most of my other faves drop like flies :( But I do really like Maneater, so I'd be quite fine with that winning.

Has Crazy actually gotten any votes yet in the entire countdown? :o

Yeah. I think it's gotten votes most rounds.

Yeah. I think it's gotten votes most rounds.

I saw it with 2 votes in one round actually, that's as much as it's gotten in one round, I think. It's either got 1 or NONE in every other round.

If it doesn't get top 3 at least, I will actually be very surprised.

Me too. I think the top 3 will be Crazy, Maneater and Patience.

I think the top 3 will be Gnarls, Shakira & Nelly, with Nelly winning. Hopefully, Gnarls win though.

They are the only ones without any votes here atm.

Someone vote for "No Tommorow" so the round can get over without MCR having to leave with their epic song. WTTBP is one of the best rock songs of recent times
