Blame Levi's for Stiltskin :( Although their adverts sent some great songs to the top of the charts in the 90s so I can forgive them this one mistake.

 

We did have Terry Venables release a cover of Elvis' If I Can Dream which got to #23 in WC season last year.

I'd imagine he was talking more specifically about the 'team' ones, which were indeed AWFUL without any exception and thankfully have died out nowadays. I mean, I've never heard this Terry Venables one but I'm sure it was a masterpiece compared to something like THIS:
