so happy about dioyy and crystal fighters! leeds seem to be throwing in all of the bands that i've had to cancel seeing in the past this year!

The dance stage has actually pleasantly surprised me this year. It seemed to be getting progressively worse every year and I fully expected it to be swamped out with dubstep to the point of no return, but there are plenty there that I want to see. Especially earlier on in the day.

D/R/U/G/S - Cold Cave - Mount Kimbie - Crystal Fighters. Then over to the NME for The Naked and Famous, Patrick Wolf and Metronomy. Then hang around for The Horrors on the FR Stage. Saturday just got a lot better for me!!!!

i'm actually quite surprised there's no james blake in the dance tent, i was almost certain he'd be at leeds this year. festival republic maybe?

not as good as usual. OFF!, Capdown and Flogging Molly will be must see sets though. will also probably see The Bronx and Mouthwash.

no Streetlight or The Skints :(

unfortunately only the king blues appeal to me there :( and not even that much- will probably not end up going to that stage at all
see Flogging Molly. seriously you wont regret it. Seen them twice at Reading and both times were sets i'll never forget, definatly up there with all my favourite live shows i've ever seen (and theres lots of competition). perfect festival band.
Even though I'm not going I have to second Chris. Flogging Molly are a brill festie band (even though I really don't rate their latest single)

Not gonna lie, i'm a little disappointed! Only really interested in cocknbullkid and foster the people. Was hoping for an appearance from James Blake

UGH BROTHER.

me and my mate are gonna get to the barrier for them at Reading and shout Kill the Arcade the whole time. and the best thing is loads of people who know them will turn up and know about all the lies around Brother and maybe also chant for kill the arcade. would be funny.

might be spending way more time in the FR stage this year, i think i've seen one band every year i've been in there. possibly none in 08 (cant remember), it's a bit random though, like Rival Schools playing on FR stage :s whatever.

Crazy that there are still tickets available, it was only a few years ago when it sold out in hours! Shows how good the other festivals have become!

Anyone want to explain the sudden hate towards the band Brother?

I'm thrilled that they're performing at Reading, finally a chance to see if they are as good live as they are on the studio tracks. Also thrilled at the announcements of Ed Sheeran (although it'll be packed in that tent), Foster the People and Young the Giant.
