Junior Senior - Move Your Feet Mis-Teeq - Scandalous Along with One Night Stand, the only Mis-Teeq song that would get a play from me these days. Kelly Rowland - Stole Good, but I thought it was genuinely amazing back then. Sounds a lot more ordinary now. Royksopp - Eple T.A.T.U - All The Things She Said Iconic 00s track obviously. Justin Timberlake - Cry Me A River B-List Ruby Amanfu - Sugah Bought this at the time, deserved a hell of a lot better than what it got. Dannii Minogue - I Begin To Wonder Moloko - Familiar Feeling Wonderful! Pop like this would really have no chance of making top 10 now. March 17, 201115 yr Not my favourite retro, I really hated 2003 mainstream music wise for some reason, I'm not sure if it was because I was so wrapped up in my GCSE's that I wasn't really paying any attention to things but I honestly only like about 6 songs from that entire playlist. Was Delta's Born To Try playlist by Radio 1, it was probably a few weeks later I guess. That was the first song I strongly sat up and took note of in 2003, and that was quite a few months into the year :lol: I would say Beautiful as well but I bought Stripped in late 2002 so was already aware of it.

As usual, by the time it came to the UK it was old news to me...the only big UK chart hits that I cared about in 2003 (besides Delta's singles) were Girls Aloud - No Good Advice and Life Got Cold, XTM - Fly On The Wings Of Love, Jurgen Vries/CMC - The Opera Song, DJ Sammy's The Boys Of Summer and Christina Aguilera's 2003 singles (all of which again I heard in 2002 first). I was mostly into relative or proper flops/minor hits during 2003 - Texas - Carnvial Girl, Puretone - Stuck In A Groove, Masai - Do That Thang, Love Inc - Broken Bones and Boomkat - The Wreckoning (#37 SMASH!) :wub:

Really surprising. 2003 was one of the most urban dominated years imo, it was also the first time the UK had a R&B top5 in the singles chart ;) Pop was good but not as good as 2000-2 imo. I dont have many playlist from the 90s but I know she did get playlisted at one point. She definitely wasnt with her "Up" album though, but then the Radio 1 playlist got increasingly snobbish over the years
March 18, 201115 yr Author Yeah "All The Things She Said" is 2002 for me too, first heard it in August 2002 in my holidays in Spain, then it was all over MTV Europe in Autumn 2002.
