Tell her that she "needs to get over" something that's clearly quite difficult and emotional for her is quite rude. But yes, we can agree to disagree.

Well, what else is she supposed to do? Let it bother her for the rest of her life? I'm sure she is still upset, but seeing her burst into tears every time she sings it does seem a tad excessive.

Anyway, as I said I'VE DONE TALKING ABOUT THIS. I hope Adele's performance (as stunning as I'm sure it'll be) will be scheduled as late as possible, so whatever gains it makes will be as miniscule as possible.. ;)

Really pleased about Katie Weasel she was just dreadful hope she sold two copies both brought by her gran. Not sure why simple Simon and Louis thought she was the second coming of Gaga and Madonna.

Eric Blob-I doubt Cheryl has enough emotional depth to cry with genuine tears.I love over the top emotional performances but those are usually reserved for singers who can actually sing and they give there all.I do not think it makes much difference if you do not like the singer I do not like Chris Brown but I am one of the few who thinks he was genuine crying for MJ who he had long admired. No one beats Mary J at the Grammys though I thought she would have a nervous breakdown on stage.

Wow at Mary J Blige!!!! :o :o That's actually insane! :o

Well, at least you're honest about your feelings for Cheryl. I disagree. I think all humans have the emotional depth to cry with genuine tears, and I found it borderline horrific how she cried about having malaria and divorcing and people said she was faking it. A divorce can be one of the worst experiences in a person's life, and to have to go to school the next day, and hear hundreds of people mocking Cheryl for crying about divorcing made me sick. :( But that's kids for you I guess. They don't understand what it's like to be in love with someone and have them betray you like that (although neither do I, but still ). I think it's natural for someone to cry about a divorce, and likewize, if Cheryl ever did a performance that reminded her of her divorce, I'd fully understand if she cried.

And I appreciate your honesty tbh. Most people I've had discussions about this with have just danced around the subject, so thanks. :)

Ok i don't know where you get this information from but people did not think Cheryl was faking her tears. She nearly died and her husband was an utter tit to her infront of the whole nation and made a mockery of her. I would cry too.

I got the information (I don't think information is the right word, it's more "experiences") from a combination of school, the press in the following days and Digital Spy forums.

Nearly every single person on Digital Spy thought she was faking it. I was saying "Maybe she's just upset about divorcing?". And everybody was like "NO! She just wants Promise This to get to #1". I was out-numbered so I got absolutely slaughtered. :( And then there was school aswell, although I didn't really challenge people on it there.

EDIT: Look at this thread for example: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=1371920

Some gems from there:

I thought this deserved it's own thread.

Don't tell me, she's fake crying lol

she really does my head in. shes only become the nations sweetheart because she got cheated on
i saw that ad and i dont buy the tears ...its all for the camera ...just enough tears for them to be visible on the cheek but not enough to mess up the make up. theres probably a crying coach on her payroll to help her get it just right.

and alo the 24 hours to live thing..... and amazingly within 2 weeks she was back to her old self looking radiant ...shes such a trooper. Not that im suggesting she didnt have maleria but i dont think it was as bad as they are now claiming...was she acutally in acoma !!! i didnt think so

amazingly when the nations sweet heart crown starts to slip they ramp it up pr style ....cheryl is becoming KP in my eyes - in that playing the game for the sympathy..and look where she has ended up

those the tears have been added using CGI
well isnt that what all "nations sweethearts" have to do get idolised(by certain people) because they got cheated on and then they can do no wrong with the press and media??? loved by everyone(well not everyone!!!), called a princess, Magazine and journalist's lick their arses as they got "cheated on" a powerful man in Tv Simon Cowell suddenly gives them a job as a judge on a popular programme, (even though they cant f***king sing) because they got cheated on?? no oh sorry the way the press and media lick her arse i though it must be how it works

Her feelings will slowly decrease and she will get over it, but telling her point-blank, "Get over it", is rude. End of.

Digital Spy

Well, you've say it, it's Digital Spy, there is no forum worse than that one.

Is anyone that performed on Comic Relief climbing?

Those quotes from Digital Spy are hilarious. I would be crying if I was her(as James said).
Only The Wanted have performed so far

Thank you, I don't have a stream so I can't watch it...

Well, you've say it, it's Digital Spy, there is no forum worse than that one.

True. I go on a LOT of forums. I have genuinely, never, ever been on a forum with so much negativity, and hatred, and bullying in my life. It's dreadful.

Not just Cheryl, but Susan Boyle, like 100 people from Big Brother, Justin Bieber, any young male that teenage girls find attractive, Cher Lloyd, any rapper.

It almost seems like if you want to be hated on Digital Spy, all you've got to do is have the media say nice things about you. :(

Yeah, I think I'd cry if my partner cheated on me, and then we got divorced.

I hope the media never say anything nice about me, or hype me up, or else everybody might think I'm not capable of having emotions.

Actually I think Eric Blob is right there did seem to be alot of people who were not moved by Cheryls tears. I think one wit even said that there were more tears than talking and she was trying to plug the new album.I did not watch the interview but who would shed tears over scumbag Ashley Cole. The people on DS are extreme and rather scary.

What a shame at The Wanted climbing hope they are 3 on Sundays official.

Wow people are just awful on Digital Spy. Eric you should just not mention Cheryl on there. They are jealous bast*rds.

Who's telling her that point blank? This is something I'm saying in the privacy of my own living room :)

Maybe it is harsh, but without knowing the circumstances it's very difficult to sympathise.

I just think we're oversaturated with 'emotional' songs right now, so every time I see someone cry during one it's natural to feel sceptical.

End of. (I hope, for REAL this time.....) :)

Yeah. I posted there during X Factor last year (because I was a massive fan of Cher), and let's just say, if someone made a death threat against Cher, you were in the wrong if you disagreed with it. It was okay to say "I hope Cher gets hit by a bus", but it's not okay to say "I don't think Cher deserves to die".

But anyway, this is bringing back sad memories. :( This may sound really, really sad, but I was delighted to FINALLY, after 7 years see someone on the X Factor who'd perform the likes of Jay-Z, Keri Hilson, Professor Green, Dizzee Rascal and Eminem. So I didn't take it well when people kept saying they wanted her to die. :(

I agree completely. It's stupid. Why do people hate artists because the media like them? Yes, some artists do things that can be genuinely hated(Chris Brown,Garry Glitter for example), but tbh, people just seem to hate artists for the sake of it. I don't see the difference between Adele and Cheryl crying. They both had/have genuine things to be upset about. I for example, have had quite a hard life. Would you hate me for it?

I'm only replying back to your messages, if you wanted to end it, you could've just not replied back. ;)

The wanted have gone to 1!

WOW... and they were far behind at 3... come on Adele!
