I agree completely. It's stupid. Why do people hate artists because the media like them? Yes, some artists do things that can be genuinely hated(Chris Brown,Garry Glitter for example), but tbh, people just seem to hate artists for the sake of it. I don't see the difference between Adele and Cheryl crying. They both had/have genuine things to be upset about. I for example, have had quite a hard life. Would you hate me for it?

Yeah, exactly. It just seems like if you're hyped, you get hated.

Susan Boyle for example. Yes, she isn't the best singer in the world. But she is good. She hits most of the notes correctly.

That was probably the most mind-boggling one ever. In the space of 2 weeks, it went from "Wow, wasn't expecting that. She's a nice singer." Then she's in the news, and people all around the world watch her. Then slowly it becomes "Well, she's okay, but not that good". Then she's in the media more, becomes a worldwide sensation, and then she becomes one of the most hated people in the country at the time.

All she did was sing on a talent show.

Comic relief is awful, children in need much better (way more music)

Wanted will drop behind Nicole tommorow, she's on c4 11.00pm + performing Poison, DHYB and 2 more songs

I can't see The Wanted overtaking her, Adele could just about do it if her performance gets a big enough reaction.

Wow! Shocked The Wanted are #1 now!! :o

I don't think they can get #1 though. But if it's had this much of an effect on them, Adele might get it again! :o

somewhat I think more people will be watching Comic Relief :P

Why are people so shocked The Wanted are at #1 ? It's the Official Comic Relief Single and they've just performed to an audience of millions. They showed a clip of the video too and were played in the background of a VT

Did you really just say that? You've completely missed the point of both Comic Relief and Children in Need.

Yeah of course more people are watching comic relief, but dont hold your breath should get more sales tommorow.. infact dont hold your breath only needs to be used on an advert or something on comic relief tbh.

Plus, not only will it get less viewers, but 11pm gives Nicole only an hour's worth of boosts for this week's chart.

Although with that boost, and the usual boost (or slowing down of falling) that pre-album singles get on album release week, it might not actually drop too far next week.

Yeah, you're right actually. It is a bit stupid of me to be shocked. I should been expecting it, tbh, I just wasn't thinking.

Although to be fair, it's certainly climbed very quickly! Although I imagine lots of people will be watching it right now and simply downloading the song on their phones or whatnot.

I'm only replying back to your messages, if you wanted to end it, you could've just not replied back. ;)

Yes, but when I say things like "That's my last word on the subject" and "I've done talking about this" it seems pretty clear I want to move on.. but like you, I always respond if someone else wants to take it further. I'm polite like that.. :)

Yes you are right. I'm getting affected by the emotion on here jut now :P.

I do not think there is anything wrong with being emotional in public(if it is genuine). However, it appears some people think famous people aren't allowed to be human. I am not saying that is the case of anyone on here, but many people think like that.

When Adele is performing? I want her to get this big BOOST also!

I didin't mean it like that.

Btw NICOLE REALLY DOES HAVE NUMBER 1 IN THE BAG! She was beating Adele By 20-30k On Thursday and would have increased a little since today, theres no way wanted or adele could catch up on that and Nicole should get around 3-4k downlaods performing on C4 tommorow!

Hopefully around midnight (less people to see it that way) :)

True. I go on a LOT of forums. I have genuinely, never, ever been on a forum with so much negativity, and hatred, and bullying in my life. It's dreadful.

Not just Cheryl, but Susan Boyle, like 100 people from Big Brother, Justin Bieber, any young male that teenage girls find attractive, Cher Lloyd, any rapper.

It almost seems like if you want to be hated on Digital Spy, all you've got to do is have the media say nice things about you. :(

Yeah, I think I'd cry if my partner cheated on me, and then we got divorced.

I hope the media never say anything nice about me, or hype me up, or else everybody might think I'm not capable of having emotions.

I know, I visited it once and never came back.

Cheryl cried during every performance of I'll Stand By You during the Tangled Up tour, it wasn't the best time of her life though. Fortunately it was 3 years ago, if she cried now I'm sure it would be all over the papers and some people would say it was fake when it clearly wasn't. And by the things you say I see they are even worse with Cher on that stupid forum.

Yes. Sure I found Cher annoying, but seriously, saying she deserves anything is completely unfair. I believe it was genuine in her case.

4 McFly tracks in the top 1000. All About You is there twice because of the Thank you Oxfam moment.

Yeah, this. It does seem that there's a section of society that's just filled with utter contempy, jealousy and hatred for anybody who's famous. They're like "Oh, I can say whatever nasty things I want about them, because they've got lots of money, and I don't, so they're really happy and don't care".

I think people are just so cynical sometimes.

Maybe Adele feels emotional when thinking about her ex-partner.

Maybe Cheryl feels upset when talking about her divorce.

Maybe Chris Brown regrets attacking a woman.

They're normal human beings.
