The Miranda sketch was fantastic. The JLS performance afterwards however was possibly the most funny thing so far tonight, totally unexpected, and poor Tom Ellis looked rather uncomftorble through the entire thing.

The contrast between the funny bits and the VT's of David Tennant or whoever in Africa is a bit odd to watch though, certainly going from laughing to bawling my eyes out in mere minutes is quite something.

I hate Comic Relief and I fukking hate James Corden, but his sketch was brilliant!!
The Fake That was a bit disappointing. :( I was hoping for the comedians to be singing the song so their version could be avaliable for download/CD/DVD. :(

I have to agree. I was so hoping that the sketch (given the bigging up its been given in the press) would be so much funnier than it was and may re-ignite my love for Take That. But my god - it fell down like a damp squib! The song sounded better though than Take That's earlier performance.

The JLS/Miranda performance was FANTASTIC! Was not expecting it at all, and it was hilarious. I would LOVE for it to be released for download.

JLS have been quite the revelation tonight - not only in the Miranda performance - but also with Gordon Brown in the Smithy sketch. I think these guys could be more rounded than I've ever given them credit for (I quite liked them before anyway - just didn't take them seriously).

Up-Downtonstairs-Abbey just has to be the best of the night for me though. Especially Simon Callow taking on the part of the insufferably prickish Julian Fellows.

No offence but the song TT performed was terrible. Adele was brilliant though. Some of sketches were good (a few poor). All in all though not too bad of an evening. Did get a bit bored through most of it though :P. Wanted more of Eastenders though

LMFAO. Loads of hilarious highlights -- and some of them were totally unexpected! Miranda, Outnumbered, Smithy, Alan Partridge, Upstairs Downstairs Abbey, Autumnwatch, Masterchef and probably a lot more! :D Eastenders was great too buy for different reasons, and the VTs of Africa that they played were truly heartbreaking. :( Adele was brilliant, as usual, too and I actually quite liked the song that Elbow performed. :) Definitely one of the best, if not the best Comic Relief night that I personally have ever seen! :D

This mash-up is excellent! It should've been on earlier, it's far too good to have been shown at 2PM or whenever it was!

Yeah I saw that. Absolutely genius. I agree it should've been on way earlier as I was falling asleep at this time and it kinda woke me up

Best red nose day for a number of years I thought. Alan Partridge was the funniest, but I enjoyed the Downton Abbey spoof and the Smithy sketch was pretty well written - not that the Smithy character really had to be there. The films from Africa were generally heartbreaking too.

JLS/Miranda & the Smithy sketch were easily my favourites

Bought the Smithy Sketch on iTunes. The Behind the scenes stuff is pretty good too.. Great to see how they put it all together

James Corden & the team he works with are amazing  They never fail to deliver with the Smithy Sketches and they also did JLS's tv programme.. The sketches in that were brilliant

I've seen that Axis of Awesome song before, the final song in the mash up is Scar by Missy Higgins

The Miranda/JLS sketch was very funny. I loved the Heather Small cameo, which probably would have been very gimmicky had it been done in an actual episode of Miranda, but for Comic Relief seemed perfect. And Miranda's comment "No, I drive a Peugeot" (or something like that) after Aston and Marvin from JLS introduced themselves!

Uptown Downstairs Abbey was brilliant -- Jennifer Saunders doing her best Dame Maggie Smith, Joanna Lumley complaining that she would fit in better upstairs, Kim Cattrall ("but who will inherit Uptown...and my Sex and the City millions!"), Simon Callow as Julian Fellowes ("I don't know how I do it!"), and on and on. I'd love to see a 15-minute spoof after every season of Downton Abbey!

And I might be in the minority, but I thought the Susan Boyle/Geraldine McQueen duet was hilarious (and the Freemasons Remix of the song is a sublime "remix parody" -- the name of the remix on Amazon UK is perfect and truly reflective of what you'll hear).

Simon Callow as the insufferably nauseating, brown-nosing, royalist, toad Julian Fellowes was perhaps my favourite bit of one of the funniest sketches of the night.

"Aston" "Marvin" "No, I drive a Honda" "JB" "No GTS"

My favourite part was "Aston do you want a biscuit?"
