#4 Professor Green

#6 Rizzle Kicks

#10 Rizzle Kicks (Deluxe)

I wouldn't be surprised if these two peaked at #4 and #6 respectively actually. I can see Bublé holding at #3, oddly.

01 Coldplay 80k

02 Florence 70k

03 Bublé 50k

04 Pro Green 45k

05 Noel Gallagher 35k

06 Rizzle Kicks 30k

A couple of the other new releases (Lou Reed/Metallica? Manic Street Preachers? Hopefully not Justin Bieber) may be up there as well? Manic Street Preachers in particular don't strike me as a particularly download friendly band but surely as it's a singles collection it'll sell quite a bit? IDK. And Metallica's last album got to #1 so...

Difference is with Metallica, "Death Magnetic" was a really hyped and well-received comeback with about six singles released before it that all charted. "Lulu" has been largely panned, is massively inaccessible and Lou Reed has very little fanbase over here. It'll do VERY well to go top 5.

Ah, I see. I'm not exactly the most clued-up person on Metallica and Lou Reed ever  I'd guess though that Metallica's fanbase is large enough to see 'Lulu' go at least top 20?

Anyway, I don't think Bublé will overtake Noel yet. I think the top 6 will be like this:

1 Coldplay

2 Florence + The Machine

3 Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds

4 Michael Bublé

5 Professor Green

(rather large sales gap here)

6 Rizzle Kicks

Then the rest of the top 10 will just be made up with other albums from last week's top 10 - a combination of Bruno, Kelly, Adele, Ed and maybe Matt (Steps highly unlikely, definitely not Tom Waits) - possibly with Manic Street Preachers in there somewhere as well.

MSP will probably sell close to 30k which'll be enough for top 10. I can't judge "Lulu" because I can't tell whether the majority of Metallica fans (the type that would buy one of their albums the week it was released) are committed enough to buy an album as ridiculous as this one. They probably are, which means they'd be on for 40k-odd and top 5. Who knows.

Florence + The Machine (deluxe version) now #1. Coldplay might be heading for only one week at #1 then :( Ah well, at least it's not some shite knocking it off.

Top 10 update:

1. Ceremonials (Deluxe Version) - Florence + The Machine

2. Mylo Xyloto - Coldplay

3. At Your Inconvenience - Professor Green

4. Ceremonials - Florence + The Machine

5. BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge, Vol. 6 - Various Artists

6. Stereo Typical - Rizzle Kicks

7. Stereo Typical (Deluxe Version) - Rizzle Kicks

8. Christmas - Michael Bublé

9. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds (Deluxe Version) - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds

10. Stronger (Deluxe Version) - Kelly Clarkson

I wonder what the logic is behind some albums having their standard edition charting higher (such as Rizzle Kicks, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran) while most others have the deluxe/bonus track version higher?

What I find is that the deluxe always starts out higher (Rizzle Kicks is an unusual exception) but as the album ages the standard takes over. After a few weeks the deluxe is usually gone from the top 100. I'm sure that will happen with Florence and Kelly.

Coldplay back at #1 :o Random but welcome. Standard version of 'Ceremonials' back up to #3 though (with Live Lounge Vol. 6 climbing to #4 and Green down to #5). So both Coldplay and F+TM win a bit.

The rest of the top 10: Ed Sheeran back up to #6, Lana Del Rey's EP is back to #7 (big longevity for an EP!), Noel G's Birds at #8, Adele back up to #9 again () and Rizzle Kicks down to #10 (standard version).

It's good times for the symbol + in the albums chart at the moment :P

Labrinth's EP is still at #24 while Green's is down to #71 :o :D

Next Week's Pre Orders

100 - Maverick Sabre "I Need"

107 - Afrojack & Steve Aoki "No Beef (feat. Miss Palmer)" :w00t:

109 - JLS "Take A Chance On Me"

177 - Pixie Lott "What Do You Take Me For"

143 - Birdy "Birdy"

182 - Various Artists "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn"

JLS should be #1, Pixie Lott probably at #4-5 behind Rihanna Green and maybe Labrinth. Maverick should be T20 and Afrojack hopefully T20 (that's just wishful thinking however and will probably end up low T30)

Afrojack will be extremely lucky to go top 40. We are talking about a song involving Steve Aoki, king of the dance flop, here. :P
Birdy's doing quite well on pre-orders isn't she. I wonder will she surprise us and contend with Pixie and JLS.

Well, she's not out on the same week, so I highly doubt it.

You're probably right. Sad times :( I thought 'Brrrat!' would go T40 because of Armand van Helden, but that missed the T100 completely   I'd love Steve to get a bigger hit than 'I'm In The House' someday - that song isn't as good as No Beef, Brrrat! and Turbulence

Sorry, I just saw it bunched in with Pixie and JLS and assumed it was out the same week. I've been an airhead lately.

Just realised, with Cher's album out next week, we could have a '+', a 'Sticks + Stones' and a 'Florence + The Machine' in the top 10/20 at the same time

7. + - Ed Sheeran

8. 21 - ADELE

9. Video Games - EP - Lana Del Rey

10. + (Deluxe Version) - Ed Sheeran

New releases were added an hour early for some reason - maybe iTunes forgot to put their clock back :P

6. Take a Chance On Me - EP - JLS

8. I Need (Remixes) - Maverick Sabre

17. No Beef (Remixes) [feat. Miss Palmer] - Afrojack & Steve Aoki

19. What Do You Take Me For? (feat. Pusha T) - EP - Pixie Lott

25. Me Without You - EP - Loick Essien

26. To the Stars (Remixes) - EP - Modestep

45. Off the Record (Remixes) [feat. Calvin Harris & Burns] - EP - Tinchy Stryder

Ouch at Tinchy entering the lowest. Doesn't bode well for OTR but I guess it could just not be an EP seller.

No Beef ahead of WDYTMF? I never saw 'No Beef' in the top 200 once and Pixie was there for ages  She seems far too low anyway...

#19 is worrying for Pixie. Marina got to #11 and entered at #25. I hope she rises.
If new releases were added an hour early will pre-orders count towards today's chart?

Presumably yes, but they're not going to account for much. JLS had enough pre-orders to enter at #6, I doubt that's enough sales for it to enter the top 200. We'll see anyway.

 4. Take a Chance On Me - EP - JLS

 10. I Need (Remixes) - Maverick Sabre
