Make-up free Delta looks less than Goodrem as she swaps her usual glamour for tracksuit bottoms and scruffy hair

Delta Goodrem was barely recognisable as she shed her usual glamorous style for messy hair, tracksuit bottoms and a baggy top while stepping out for lunch in Los Angeles.

Gone were her famous sleek locks and flawless make-up, as the Australian singer opted for hobo chic.

Before meeting up with her friends, Delta popped into her local dry cleaner, hopefully to pick up a new outfit, and then continued to stroll around in the casual attire.

Delta is usually renowned for her classic style and impeccable hair and make-up but these days she seems to be choosing a more low maintenance look.

Her fiancé Brian McFadden is Down Under in her native Australia, so perhaps the star felt she had no one to impress on her outing.

Despite the odd ensemble, she did add a bit of glamour to the outfit with a Louis Vuitton scarf, but it wasn’t enough to detract from the scruffy look.

Delta has recently denied rumours that she will appear in the Australian X Factor as a judge to replace Kyle Sandilands.

She would have been sitting next to McFadden on the talent show panel after Sandilands announced he would not return in 2011.

But after rumours got out, she wrote on Twitter: ‘I was asked to be on X Factor before it ever started in Australia, but declined as my focus and love is to make music [sic].’

And when asked by fans when they’d see her next, she said: ‘I like to go into a little shell and be a hermit and make music for a while.’

She is instead currently working on her fourth studio album, which is expected to be released later this year.

Natalie Imbruglia and Ronan Keating have both still not confirmed whether they will return to the Aussie X Factor either.

I saw this on the Daily Mail website, must be the first time she's been mentioned in UK press in years :lol: Still beautiful even without make up but it's hardly an earth shattering story :drama:

She does look rather attractive without make-up on or her hair did.
