This is my favourite piece of electronic music and sits in my Top 10 singles of all time. The percussion, the harpsichord, the synths, it's all so eerie and precise.

Its definetely one of my fave albums should be remembered as a classic.Id love to know the meaning of the video.I think she is meant to be a alien isnt she.Belfast is epic 2.

I've struggled to get into Orbital however this is a remarkable piece of music and the vid is amazing!
I don't think Orbital have ever beaten The Box, it's a great piece of music. If you like this you should get the 12" as there are stacks of variations on it.

Orbital's best song ever is definitely Halcyon + On + On:

Belfast, The Box, Lush 3-1, Out There Somewhere Pt. 1+2, One Perfect Sunrise, Are We Here?, Way Out are also brilliant.

I'm listening to the chart from this day in 92, and at 37 was an entry for Orbital with the Radiccio EP. Bruno played “Halcyon” (the edit, not the glorious 11 minute version) but anyway I've always thought it was their best track personally, shame it never advanced beyond its entry position of 37.

Of course the main hook is actually just a reversed and chopped up vocal sample from the earlier '92 Top 5 hit: Opus III “It’s A Fine Day”
