July 22, 201113 yr 21 weeks at number 1 for '21' in Ireland :funky: In the six months since its release Adele’s ‘21’ has only spent 5 weeks off the No1 spot (and never below No2). This week she celebrates not only 21 weeks at the top of the Album Chart but also takes the crown for the most weeks at No1 for any album in recent Irish chart history, breaking the 20 week record that has stood for 16 years for Oasis’ ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory’. Ireland Top 100 Albums 01. (01) 21 - Adele ***21 weeks at No. 1*** 05. (03) 19 - Adele
July 22, 201113 yr :arrr: What happened to my edited post? Anyway, I was saying Adele is increasing projected sales for '21' almost everywhere this week. Is this due to the release of the ITUNES Festival EP? She's got to 1 in Slovenia, jumped 9-6 in Italy, projected to be back to no.1 in UK and US and who knows what happens on others I haven't checked? Edited July 22, 201113 yr by Fahrenheit
July 28, 201113 yr '21' has sold another 77,130 this week in the USA (going back to #1 for an 11th non-consecutive week) bringing its total sales to 2,750,250 :D Her iTunes Festival EP also climbs 12 places to #50, with another 8,745 sales bringing its total to 16,370 :D Edited July 28, 201113 yr by Bré

September 6, 201113 yr '21' at #2 in it's 32nd week in the Netherlands, with only one week outside of the top 2. I believe she's had 26 weeks at #1, with more to come
September 8, 201113 yr 'Rolling in the Deep' finally reaches the Spanish top 10 this week, after 29 weeks on chart, its new peak is #8! 'Someone Like You' is also new there at #23 :D
September 8, 201113 yr "Rolling In The Deep" tops the 5 million mark in digital sales this week. It's the first song to sell 5 million digital copies in a calendar year. It streaked to 5 million in just 35 weeks, faster than any other song in digital history. The old record was held by the Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling," which topped the 5 million mark in its 36th week.
November 25, 201113 yr Worldwide sales are now at 12.43 million, only just trailing The Fame on 13.26, so it'll overtake in a couple of weeks' time :D
November 26, 201113 yr Worldwide sales are now at 12.43 million, only just trailing The Fame on 13.26, so it'll overtake in a couple of weeks' time :D A couple of weeks? How much is it selling worldwide per week? It's still doing 100k+ per week in the USA and might do 45k? in the UK this week (which will probably increase to nearly if not above the 100k mark in the coming weeks), so that's around 145-200k-ish (plus its sales outside the UK/US) per week for the rest of the year - its non-UK/US sales would have to be pretty considerable for it to close an 830k gap in 'a couple of weeks'. I dunno though. Should hopefully do it by the end of the year or January at the very latest. Edited November 26, 201113 yr by Bré
November 26, 201113 yr Oops! I didn't realise it was around a million out, although I think it will definitely be done by mid-January. Edited November 26, 201113 yr by THEO.
December 5, 201113 yr I don't know whether to count Live at the Royal Albert Hall's chart position from the mixed videos chart (#32) or the music videos chart (#3). The latter is obviously more impressive, but which is the official placing?
December 5, 201113 yr I don't know whether to count Live at the Royal Albert Hall's chart position from the mixed videos chart (#32) or the music videos chart (#3). The latter is obviously more impressive, but which is the official placing? I'd say the first chart is the official one, as it's all DVD's combined. The Music Video Chart is a bit like the Dance or Urban Chart with songs
