April 18, 201114 yr I'm Into You only got to about the mid-50s on US iTunes - that is not good even for a song without promotion, especially given it has Lil Wayne on it. It doesn't look likely to become a hit. I'm not saying it definitely won't be a hit, just that it's likely it won't. JLo is only doing 'better than GaGa' here and not by much. BTW still sold quite a lot in its first couple of weeks (it sold around 140k in its first week on sale which is more than OTF did with a held back release). And 20k in 30 hours is not bad at all for Judas. Judas may well go on to be a huge hit once its video comes out and radio airplay increases. Obviously that didn't happen for BTW but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Judas has been a much better received song than BTW. And worldwide BTW has been far bigger than OTF - BTW got 6 weeks at #1 in the USA while OTF peaked at #5. And BTW (album) will probably sell far more than Love? here and everywhere else. And I don't think JLo can even dream of making as much money from touring as GaGa did with the Monster Ball tour :P Edited April 18, 201114 yr by Bray
April 18, 201114 yr I can see the new album struggling for 300k but just about making it (eventually.) I know sales were worse in the early-mid 00s but it always surprises me just how low they were, when you see a HUGE hit like Jenny From The Block sell less in total than a big hit now sells in a week.
April 18, 201114 yr It won't get past 400K probably :( J.Lo is only on about 500K :( Never expected you to be a logical loon. I'm way too optimistic with this era. so far she's doing surprisingly great.
April 18, 201114 yr Yeah but J-Lo is hotter than Gaga so she wins :kink: As long as the album gets Platinum and sells more than Rebirth, i'll be happy. Logical Loon  I like that. Edited April 18, 201114 yr by Regina
