Probably Nero's Me & You. There was a period where it was all I heard on Radio 1 and it really grated on me. Nothing else has come close yet.

'Guilt' is far better.

Yeah, that song was literally on Radio 1 all the time. And I remember a lot of the DJs were playing their favourite songs of 2010 charts, and Me & You featured is so many of those, even though it wasn't even released yet!! Although I do think it's a fabulous song. Its Radio 1 airplay reminded me of what happened with I Need Air back early-summer, although that was also a fantastic song imo, just Radio 1 got a bit too fascinated with it. I do think Radio 1 are good for not overplaying songs though, in general.

it has to be Friday by Rebecca Black- there are just no redeemable qualities whatsoever :puke:

others that would contend:

George Michael- True Faith (just WTF)

Adele- Rolling In The Deep (this would win the most overrated song of the year)

Chris Brown- Yeah 3x (anything by him annoys me)

Justin Bieber- Never Say Never (its Justin Bieber, need I say more?)

Katy Perry- E.T. (lame tatu rip-off that sounds like everything else she's done)

Enrique Iglesias- Tonight I'm loving you (generic, throwaway $h!t)

Jay Z and Kanye West- HAM (total crap)

Jeremih and 50 Cent- Down on Me (I'm speechless, its just utterly terrible)

Rihanna- S&M (controversy aside, its awful)

I do generally like a lot of other songs this year though :P

Edited by chart wizard

Bruno Mars - Grenade (most overrated song of the year)

ChiPmunk ft Chris Brown - Champion

Justine Bieber - Never Say Never (although this is last year, it only entered the chart this year)

Parade - Louder

Rebecca Black - Friday

Wanted - Gold Forever

Alexis Jordan - Good Girl (so unoriginal, it's alright though)

Katy B - Lights On

Enrique Iglesias - Tonight

Chris Brown - Yeah 3x

Discounting Rebecca Black. It has to be 50 Cent & Jeremih "Down on Me". ;)

I Need A Doctor, for Dr Dre's lovely and charming use of the word "Faggots"

Dickwad.

Chris Brown - Yeah 3x

Missing member of PUSSYcat Dolls. Find the guts to admit that you literally ripped off Calvin.

To be fair, I doubt Chris Brown had even heard Calvin's song when he was recording Yeah 3x.

Somebody in his production team has.

Everything by Black Eyed Peas (I have this as a roll over year to year!) Special recent offender in this case was "The Time"- truely dreadful record without any shread of originality to it!
"Sweat" by Snoop Dog. It is just terrible. The song and Snoop are vile :puke:. The continuing exploiting of the Smith children this year is vile too :puke:.

Chris Brown doesn't have a "production team" really. He uses a very wide variety of producers, hence why his songs all sound so different, I guess.

Yeah 3x was produced by DJ Frank E (who's produced the likes of Right Round by Flo Rida, Someday by the Black Eyed Peas and Airplanes by B.o.B., so is clearly INSANELY talented). I can't see any connections DJ Frank E would have with Calvin Harris, although I think it's reasonable to suspect that he's heard the song, since Yeah 3x is indeed VERY similar to I'm Not Alone.

Grenade but On the Floor is dreadful too.

True Faith was such a disappointment.
