I do see the criticisms, and I think

also stated that constructive criticism should be implemented from a competition standpoint and not just for shock value. Giah would have easily improved because she was willing to learn (which is why Rita said they were making a mistake?). It's kinda why I've stuck with the Australian edition so much.

I think Rita was tired of giving Krislian chances and wanted to send her home but the other judges wanted Giah out. Another Brittani/Mikaela or Ann/Toccara situation I guess (in this case Rita was right and the judges made the wrong decision).

Cody's pic blew me away. Breathtakingly gorgeous. I didnt get the same from Corryanne who doesnt really look like a model to me. A bit confused why they saved her and Krislian so many times. Is it because they have double names or?

Courtney is fierce but i agree that its hard to root for her because of her cold exterior.

I also have been rewatching the good old days of ANTM recently and Tyra and the judges always gave tips as to how to position yourself or how to bring intensity etc but this time there is really none of that. The panel is very dry and unnecessarily harsh to the majority only focusing on their special pet project in the form of a couple of double-named ladies.

Okay we're seeing some constructive criticism this episode (especially from Ashley's front). Are we sure that they do give constructive criticism and tips and VH1 is just editing them out? I also would have preferred if the photoshoot wasn't so glammed up and it was a simple active wear shoot. Also, lmao at the whole Kyle and Marissa thing. Such a mess.

Really, I think there were only two outstanding photos:

1.) Cody: Well, isn't this Rihanna prepping for a massive Rocky-styled showdown? The energy she gave during the photoshoot was just the right amount, she had a lot of control in the face, the body movements were more of a pounce than just looking pretty - it was the total package. The movements and her expressions looked organic - it felt like she was stepping into the ring and gearing up for her first match. Sure it wasn't as visually and aesthetically appealing as Kayla's wrestler shot from Cycle 15 but I think I can blame that on the low-budget set.

2.) CoryAnne: This would have been best photo by miles. I agree with a lot of the judges are saying: she's being fierce, the eye intensity shoots out of the photo, her cheekbones look prominent, and her body movements are hard and primed for attack. The only reason why this isn't above Cody is... the mouth tension. She's adding way too much tension in the mouth and it makes her look too puffer fish-y rather than hard. Everything else was perfect. I think I'm starting to get into her now.

- insert gap here -

3.) Tatiana: The full body shot of this is amazing. She's photographing tall and extending those limbs (with extra direction from Chanel Iman), and that's something that can sell active wear. But, I get to the close-up and she's not giving that extra toughness that I want to see from her. Maybe a bit more eye intensity and flexing more of the facial muscles so it looks like she's straining and working hard.

4.) Marissa: This is a pretty decent photo, but it's only this high up on the countdown by default. The reason being is that in that particular angle, you can't really tell if there's movement in the feet and legs. She's giving off some great vibes during the shoot, her face looks bright as ever... in that aspect there's nothing really wrong, which explains sorta why this is on the upper half of the call-outs, but a better camera angle (maybe a semi-profile shot?) would have suited this scenario better. With this angle it makes her look bored.

5.) Binta: Similar to Tatiana and Marissa, there is just one thing keeping it from being a completely stellar photo that's much more noticeable than CoryAnne's (Tatiana had the face, whereas Marissa had a shitty camera angle that was out of her control). With Binta, it's her assuming that looking hard and fierce means staring into the camera and giving a death glare. Had she tilted her chin up a bit and extended her neck, it would have blown minds and propelled this photo to the top 3.

6.) Courtney: I would have put this photo in the top 2. It's absolutely gorgeous. But what does this photo lack that the top 5 show? There's not that much of an emphasis on the "active" portion of the active wear, and it looks too glam rather than nitty gritty. The main objective of any model is to effectively and efficiently sell the product that you're advertising, and for this particular shoot, it's the active wear. The consumers want to see fabric elasticity and assure themselves that they will be comfortable in this particular brand. And they're not gonna assess their affirmations if the model isn't giving enough movement.

So, is it a good picture? Definitely. But will it effectively sell the clothing? Probably not.

7.) Paige: Awwww @ Drew wanting to change the concept to jump roping and playing it safe :( She KILLED IT in the challenge (that looked like a Fabletics campaign more than Nike Women's), but for some reason it didn't seem to translate into this shot. Maybe Drew didn't want to take a risk with a photo that required more toughness, but I would have loved to see Paige take risks and not look like just a pretty girl. So, this is all Drew Elliot's fault.

8.) India: Her facial expressions are correct, but her body movements look so stiff and lifeless that it detracts from the shoot rather than enhances it. I would have loved to see more movement with her torso rather than her rigid placement. If she would have lunged forward or backward rather than kept the same position, it would have elevated the photo exponentially.

9.) Krislian: Rita's criticism is that she should emphasize her limbs (referencing Chanel Iman's limb positions) because she seems to photograph too short. I never really realized that so maybe it's just this shoot. And the interesting thing is that her pose would have been pretty perfect in such a different angle. I also felt her overanalyzing the shoot and trying so hard not to be sexy again.

10.) Kyle: Yeah, this was a mess. Her face looks washed up and tired and she looks pretty bored, like she doesn't want to be there. Which is disappointing because I thought she would be giving those hard and stone cold faces that would be PERFECT for this shoot. It looks too soft for this particular atmosphere. In active wear shoots, the models look like they're pushing their bodies to the limit and she looks like she's tired down.

Did Kyle have the weakest photo? By miles. Was she the weakest model left? Nope, that was Krislian. So I'm satisfied with the elimination.

This promo does not look good for Marissa. And if she does go home next week, I'm gonna get pretty suspicious that the producers are rigging this for Courtney. It's like "If you yell at Courtney, you'll be doing bad in this competition for the remainder of your stay."

Are you sure about your avg call out stats? Kyle's stats are 10-7-9-10-9 so it's quite far from the 6.5.

Didn't care about the episode and pretty pissed Coryanne is still at the top. She's so average to me.

Binta and Tash weren't exactly delivering the top picture quality in their photos, were they? So there is nothing to rig.

Of course the producers love her. She is always at the centre of drama. As well as Kyle staying was an attempt to see the whole showmance through a little bit more.

Kyle finally gone and India getting best perf yassssss she was sooooooo fierce.

My god Courtney was bad but the camera loves her so much indeed!

I feel that this music video shoot is less novelty (like Tyra's "Bootyful" thingy) and more of a mock campaign motion shoot for an indie designer brand. Paige is such a sweetheart    LMAO some of these takes were soooooooooo bad.

1.) GIRLI India: I don't know why but I did see GIRLI (and maybe a bit of Grimes?) in that shoot. She just let loose her inhibitions and just go with the flow. She took the notes about motion and the previous shoots pretty well and she used them in this take (like her playing with the train of her outfit? Noice.). This is the India we have all been waiting for and I'm wanting to see her through the end.

2.) Paige: Still as consistent as ever, she's only below India because this was less of a transformation from her because her trademark is already the "playful model" and being a dancer, she's used to motion posing. When she threw her hat to the camera - priceless. I do agree it seemed a little too "Target Back To School Sale!!!" rather than "indie designer".

3.) Tatiana: While I appreciate India and Paige for throwing their own spin and personality into their takes, I respect Tatiana because she did exactly what she was supposed to do. She knew her marks, she took direction well, she did her poses, she did what she had to do. Was it memorable? Probably not, but at this point in the show's history, you can't expect every single episode to produce something memorable.

4.) CoryAnne & 5.) Cody: (Yay for recognizing these two as more high fashion models, especially the latter!) I think this type of motion shoot was a little too fast paced for them. There wasn't enough down time to figure out what to do next and that ends up translating into "walk walk walk, then pose". I thought CoryAnne did a smidge better than Cody, as I did see those little bounces and accents in terms of beats (yes, I can still translate them despite everything being so edited), but yeah. They weren't outstanding, but they weren't horrible.

6.) Marissa: I'm not mad at it, I just think there should have been more than just playing with the hat. Paige at least got away with it because she was doing more than that and it was at the end. The hat was all that Marissa focused on. Without it, there wasn't anything else to add and she looked like she was overanalyzing the shoot.

7.) Courtney: I don't get her arm movements so much because it looked like she was trying to get them into the close-ups rather than just letting them loose. The one thing I was focusing on was her face and while it was striking, she looked BORED AS HELL.

8.) Kyle: I actually agree with Rita. She looked so so stiff and I didn't get the "I'm holding my stomach like I'm pregnant" look. The end was pretty nice, it was more of a true Kyle than what the choreography offered. She just wasn't in her element the entire time and the judges were looking for versatility, so I'm not surprised at this elimination.

9.) Binta: Oh my god this was a M E S S. She looked stuff and contrived and the one thing that saved this from being the bottom was her looking at the double dutch girls and nodding her head to the beat, which I kinda laughed at. Nope... wait... I was laughing at the entire take. Like she says she's giving energy but to me it just seems lifeless and like she's trying too hard?

On the elimination: exactly how I thought it was gonna turn out based on past episodes. It wasn't Erin Wagner levels of frustrating but yeah, three strikes honey.

Still don't get what these averages are based on hun~~

Binta was so dreadful and i genuinely thought she was going to be bottom 2 alongside Kyle but of course the producers felt a Marissa/Kyle bottom would be far more satisfying since there is no point in keeping Kyle any longer.

Oh oops

Me too before realising what an unsalvageable mess Kyle was. Has she won anything yet?

Oh oops

She was part of the team that won the first episode's challenge (the walk challenge with Stacey Mackenzie). She hasn't won individually yet.

Challenge winners in order by episode:

1.) CoryAnne/Paige/Binta/Tash/Courtney/Giah/Kyle (and then Kyle won the "boss" challenge)

2.) N/A (iirc they went straight to photoshoot?)

3.) Courtney

4.) Tatiana

5.) Paige

6.) Tatiana

India slaaaay. I feel like her and Cody will be the final 2 possibly...?
I'm glad they re-coloured her hair too, it was looking really horribly washed out in the last episode.

Ugh. Cody's pic was so much better. Tatiana is so overrated I feel. She's okay but there is literally nothing edgy or special about her. Sadly she's here until the end.

I dont get what the producers are trying to do now. Courtney's story could've been brought up weeks ago but it's only been done now. It's weird. Is it an attempt to make the public like her? Because it should be working really.

Binta going FINALLY. she's been a constant blah for weeks. Now to get rid of CoryAnne and Marissa and we are good.

Cody / Courtney top 2 plz.

Omg next episode though.

They will be bringing an eliminated bitch back. Given it's a dancing challenge we can count Kyle out lmao. Cherish to come back plz.

I personally find Cody overrated. She's like a second-rate Teyona. She IS good but I do not understand all the praise. India should've gotten best photo. She's STUNNING.

I'm still rooting for Courtney though. Please girl just shut your mouth and werk. As for next week
