  1. I know weird experimental harp music though xo
  2. has never heard any of these Storm songs and has no clue about anything about them
  3. I sent a pop song this time but that doesn't necessarily mean I'll vote for pop songs xo It depends innit
  4. Yeah this banger xo
  5. My entry is the catchiest song I have entered since sliced bread 🍞
  6. At just under 25 minutes, this feels like a little 'mood piece' more than anything else but that's not a bad thing in itself. 'Euphoria' is a lovely song.
  7. Whore members

I voted YouTube playlist but really I just click on the individual links which I always have copied into my Google Docs with the list of entries. In general I'm a Spotify user but I often want to check out the music videos (I know Spotify has music videos for some songs too). I go to many of the SyncTube sessions and it may or may not be the first time I'm hearing the songs.
  9. Omg I think I have a memory of that - was it basically just the artist getting dripped and covered in honey? Lol
  10. Bror confirmed a song about a peacock confirmed
  11. I am very rude, sorry. Congratulations to @dandy* for your win of course - coming so soon after your BJSC win, oh my! The song wasn't a fave of mine but I was happy to make other fantastic discoveries from this contest (as well as voting for one song I already knew well ('Eden'), and one I had heard once but didn't remember ('Parallel Life')).
  12. Wow, harsh 😆 I would've liked to be here for the rest of the results but the sleepy-bug got to me so I decided to call it a night, was nice to catch up early this morning though. I was so surprised to get (I think) four 12s, thank you! And an okay mid-table position and being the third highest from the 70s songs is not too shabby. The SyncTube reaction for my song was rather muted and after the slow start, I was really thinking I might finish somewhere in the bottom 5 or something. Glad it connected with some of you anyway, it's a lovely song with a great melody. I nearly always seem to have at least one song where I correctly identify the user behind it in my head without saying anything - this time it was @Bror as I had a feeling you sent 'Blackouts' haha. Great entry too, I could see myself listening to it again (I have playlists now for the songs I voted for in all the song contests so that could easily happen). Nice to see @nine¾ do well in another song contest too! Let's hope this continues. Thanks @Chez Wombat for hosting - loved this concept, some interesting entries, and I enjoyed getting a slightly more challenging year!
  13. Hooverphonic has some fantastic songs and the parent album of 'Eden', Blue Wonder Power Milk is quite the fun trip, with other beautiful songs like 'Battersea', 'Tuna', 'Renaissance Affair', 'Electro Shock Faders' and 'Magenta'. They had such a lush gorgeous sound back in the day ❤️ I've enjoyed their later work too but not as much.
  14. A second 12 😯 Thank you Dan! I'm surprised!
  15. Being revealed right after I received a 12 haha, thank you Jaz! And as if I gave Screaming Trees their first point! 😯 When I got 1976, I went through all the albums I could think of from that year that I already knew, and briefly considered sending something from Joni Mitchell's Hejira, Laura Nyro's Smile, or Jean-Michel Jarre's Oxygène. They're all artists I really like but none of it felt quite right (Jean-Michel could've been a nice entry though), and I wanted to make some discoveries so I ended up going on a bit of a deep-dive and found a bunch of interesting prog-rock things. 'All The Way' resonated with me the most though, I love it. Especially the flutes and how it builds ❤️
