Don has a lot more to give than what has been suggested so far. Chlea was appaling. What on Earth was she doing there.

Mike needs to go. Never seen such an overrated contestant like that. Plus, he's truly a TERRIBLE model.

I hope we go back to double eliminations. Far too many people in there.

 

I like Nina and Renée the most. Jeremy and Chris H on the guys. I have a feeling Marvin is winning this. He's giving me Lisa D'Amato vibes and how I hated that woman!

Lisa wasn't too close to winning her original cycle though :D

It was expected that Chlea would go. She shouldn't have even been in the competition; she is no model. I also cannot stand Marvin; getting far too big for is boots and he is cringe. Mike is DREADFUL. Does absolutely nothing in the photoshoots, what a joke. I don't like Corey either; he's no model.

 

My favourites would have to be Nina, Kanani, Renee and Chris H up to now.

I loved loved loved looking at Mike, but he really didn't try enough. That best picture last week probably was a fluke indeed, as Tyra said. I really liked most of the pictures this week! Starting to notice Kanani a bit more, she looks great!

I sort of loved the diversity of the states represented. I don't ever recall a contestant from Delaware taking part and seeing another contestant from Alaska was nice. Shame they're both out now xD

Loving this season so far but it's such a shame it's doing so badly in the ratings. A 0.3 for the last episode. I always find the judges marks to be so unfair, someone who gets bad feedback can often be marked just as well or even better than someone with decent feedback. So glad the social media score saved Jeremy last week his photo was so much better than Mikes but for some reason they marked Mike quite high even after all the critique of the photo.

 

Also anyone else watch the other versions of the show. My gf has been watching Australia and Britain's new seasons and seems to be loving them, I sometimes watch them with her. The Aussie one had a lot of drama recently.

I don't think I've ever seen them give less than a 5, but generally they seem to give 6 or above which is really high if the photo is 'bad' surely a 5 is average, so bad should be a 4 at most!...

Kelly gave Chlea a 4 one of the weeks, after having had a disagreement with her so I don't think it was a coincidence really :D

I really don't like the new system. It puts way too much pressure on luck and stuff. I found it way fairer when the judges only decided who goes home. People with a lot of potential (LEILA!) getting out too early and everything. And even if they go back, their chances decrease significantly due to the added pressure and other contestants going all OH NO U DIDN'T! U WAS ELIMINATED! which pretty much f***ed Leila's chances completely. Same is going to happen this cycle I'm pretty sure of it. Watch someone who only relies on his/her appearance and facial features win the show (HAI MARVIN NU LAURA) and someone with a lot of potential and who works their butt off finish 3rd (RENEE HAI GURL).

 

Maybe they could introduce a 50/50 method where they rank contestants and the public does the same. Or something. Because those scores judges give are not exactly NON-subjective, are they? Tyra isn't in a good mood - GET A 6 for a perfectly decent picture. Like one day I can rate a song as 8 but the next day it'll already be a 7. They need to give out scores after they have seen ALL of the pictures and comparing them to each other.

I especially find it baffling they say "I don't like this shot, you look bored. I give you a 6."

I mean a 6 is still above average. Surely a bad picture would give them a 2, 3... not a full on 6.

Like Chlea's last photo. That was terrible, and she still got a decent score from the judges, better than the week before anyway. Luckily the Facebook friends were there to slay her.

 

I do agree with your point though, Renée is being trounced out of nowhere while worse people are above her. I'm pretty sure she'll be this cycle's Leila unless she turns it out soon. Jeremy is proving himself to be just a pretty face, sadly, but then again I don't see them teaching him anything other than "don't squint" which is unfair on him. I still think Marvin will win this. A boy will win (c'mon in a cycle like this they would want variaty to win - see Britain vs US cycle), and considering the amount of air time it's this one dimensional prick that's gonna get there. Shame Siva Kaneswaran was unavailable.

I don't think she will. Her picture with Mike was terrible, and she didn't really deliver anything good so far. She's just been scraping through in the middle but I see her going out very soon. She reminds me more of Darian of last season than Krista.

Yeah Kanani did a good job, but I thought Phil did a better job.

 

It was overall an over-the-top ridiculous episode. From the house drama to the shoot.

 

I didn't know who could get the boot for this atrocious commercial, but then when the bottom two were up there I realised I didn't remember Alexandra much so I guess it's no big loss. (Damn, Marvin was so close!)...

 

Nina is becoming my runaway favourite.

I really liked Kanani's performance too. I just in general like her too, she has a fantastic look and seems like a cool person, although she probably hasn't been shown that much so far. She's kinda like the Nastasia (cycle 19) of this cycle. I liked Renee's performance as well. Kanani and Renee probably had the best combination of being believable and engaging in their videos.

 

When they showed Alexandra's pictures at the end, I was stunned at a couple of them. She really pulled some good faces out of the bag.
