I think Benitez will put out a decent side. Nothing too spectacular but just a mediocre team. I epect Fowler will be playing and Pennant, Sissoko, Agger, Paletta etc etc. ^_^

Yep, but at the same time he'll be giving them all a firm warning and using the Manchester U-$h!ted match as an example

Or at least that's what I would do if I were manager

He probably will. Although I don't think it will a big a deal if Birmingham beat Liverpool as it was tonight. Well I hope not. :(

Nah, Birmingham are a decent enough team, and they'll probs be back in the Premiership this time next year, so...

Maybe. ^_^ I think they'll get play-offs at best this year though. ^_^

Nah, I can see them getting promoted via playoffs

Who do you think will get automatic promotion this year?

Cardiff and Preston I reckon on current form.

I can't belive how bad Leeds are doing though. Of course it brings me great pleasure seeing Leeds doing bad though. ^_^

I don't mind Leeds, doesn't bother me whether they're battling relegation from the championship or fighting for playoff positions, but then you're from around that area so I guess Leeds are to you what Newcastle are to me

And yeah, I reckon Cardiff could well be in with a shot at auto-prom this season

(But I hope the arrogant ****ers get brought right back down again :P)

Yeah I don't generally mind the city Leeds and a lot of the people that live there, but the Leeds supporters I can't stand on the whole.

I think it would be wierd seeing a non English team in the Premiership. :o

Ha-ha! True, that!

Speaking of relegation battles (CM4 Relegation battles, that is), I think Sunderland have steered themselves out of the edge of the relegation area after winning West Ham 4-0!! :yahoo:

Poor old Hammers had a nightmare game with 2 players injured and defender Breen sent off. Of course, as soon as Breen was sent off I changed the mentality to 'Gung Ho' :kink:

But atm i'm desperate for wins, and if it's goal difference that saves us at the end of the day, so be it -_-

Don't be!

It's the third time i used it, and I thought it summed up my feelings pretty well

We've just won liverpool 3-2 away at Liverpool, so we're well on our way up and out of relegation danger! :party2:

Next game's at home to Bolton, who are currently 12th B)

I was shocked, especially seeing as how we went 1-0 down in the first 20 minutes. As soon as we went 2-1 up (just after the start of the second half) I switched to defensive style, then we got a penalty! and poor Liverpool were all over us! They played us off the pitch and into the car park. Owen got a consolation in the 89th minute, but Sunderland walked away with all 3 (much needed) points

Owen's still playing for Liverpool!. :o

The Champ Man i'm playing on is quite a few seasons old :(

Sunderland survived! We ended up finishing 15th  But this summer i'm gonna seriously re-organise my team... far too much waste lying around that I could sell on and make much-needed money on!

On problem with it been a few seasons old is i'm guessing players such as Dirk Kuyt etc have rubbish ratings when now they'd be rated pretty high?.

Yeah, true that

The team I have atm mostly consists of league 1 'budget' signings (remember, Niall Quinn ain't chairman at this stage!)

Does the job, though! ^_^

Oh yeah budget signings. ^_^

I really don't like old games though with out of date stats. :(
