Yeah thats a major plus point I mean as well as apeearing in the video, you'll also be one of the first to hear their new track. ^_^ I think it'll be intresting to see the overall reaction to this track as they seem to have got a lot of new fans after Preston appearing in CBB.

How was The Ordinary Boys video shoot then Nicky?. ^_^

AMAZING  'twas a great day yesterday despite all the waiting around we had to do, I now have yet another full set of autographs (apart from one of course) Simon even remembered me and everything from January and I even nicked a booklet that had all the lyrics in (no I won't copy them onto here) it also had the numbers of all the people working there and risk assessment etc. but my brother says HE found it and HE should keep it. We were all basically the crowd and Preston was walking through us and watching the band, the concept was him trying to get away from the crowd, at the end though they were ALL onstage and played the song at least six times and we had to jump around and sing along like normal :D The song is GREAT btw :cheer: It's kinda like electro Northern Soul and even sounds a bit like Tainted Love :o it's VERY radio friendly and they should be all over it. :yahoo: I THINK I got myself into a few shots but we'll see if they make the final cut anyway.. I thought it was great how Will handled all the fans when he came out for a bit and the video looks as though it'll be great but we'll see I suppose.

Well even if you don't see yourself in the vid, at least you had a good time. ^_^ Sounded a real good day and I wanna hear their new song now. :( I hope the song does well though as they deserve it. ^_^ It sounds like a really good video as well. ^_^

It'll be top ten I think ;) I've been told the video should premiere in about two weeks so I'll keep my eye out for it and look at every frame to see if I'm in
Well the duet with Lady Soverign went top 10, so I reckon this will follow into the top 10 as well. ^_^ 2 weeks until the video supposivley premiers, so do you have any idea when the radio will gte hold of the track?. I'd be exactly the same with the video if I were in it.

I hope you have fun. :D Should be a really good gig. ^_^

Oh and on another note; were the biggest rock & indie OF now. :cheer:

It was bloody AMAZING :o  Right up there with the best gigs I've ever been to :cheer: I got to the venue at about 5pm (you had to get there between 3pm and 6pm to get your wristband and tickets so you could avoid the touts (sp?) but there were a few there but of course you couldn't get in without both and if a wristband had been tampered with they wouldn't let you in so that worked well ^_^ however the organisation of that didn't worked well as there were still people collecting their wristbands WELL after 6  The doors were supposed to be at 7 but yet no one could figure out where the queue to get in actually was  in the end they asked us to stand in a big clump next the venue because of so much confusion and after a few minutes they started gradually letting people in while people were STILL getting their wristbands and tickets -_-

When we did finally get inside we rushed to try and get as far to the front as possible and we ended up standing in the second row on the left just where Nick would be standing in front of us onstage :D Chris saved my place for me while I went to the toilet and had a look at what t-shirts were on offer! I had a look and they had the black one with the white logo, the blue one with the white logo, a black one with 'Who The **** Are Arctic Monkeys' written in blue (like on the blackboard on the EP) on it and a red one with 'I love Arctic Monkeys' in yellow. I eventually decided on the Who The **** Are Arctic Monkeys one.

I then went back to my place and stood with Chris waiting for The Klaxons (the support) and they were actually quite good! I heard a lot about them in the NME who have hyped them as 'the leader of the rave' and that's basically what they are (well rave with guitars) and I must have a look on Limewire for some of their songs to hear what the recorded versions sound like.. once they've finished we all had to wait patiently for the big one but however some w*nker decided to try and start a fight in which we found that there are Arctic Monkeys lyrics for EVERYTHING as lyrics quoted included 'I don't wanna hear you kick me out, kick me out" when security spotted it and when they got in the crowd I said myself "last night these two bouncers one of them's alright the other ones are scary" and finally "they wanted to be men and do some fighting in the street"

A few minutes later they came on and they OPENED with I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor :o and I'm shocked because a band doesn't normally open with their best song! They played every track from the album but only one track from the EP in Cigarette Smoker Fiona (yes no Who The **** Are Arctic Monkeys :( ) Leave Before The Lights Come On was much more well recieved than I heard about with gigs a few months back considering now people actually KNOW the song now and everything  the big suprise of the night was that they played one of my favourite songs by them in 'Bigger Boys And Stolen Sweethearts' just my luck though that I kept coughing all the way through that song and couldn't sing it properly  that was however the only b-side that was played.. later that night Alex brought on a friend to play guitar with them called Scott and even though we didn't know him we all chanted 'Scotty!' 'Scotty!' 'Scotty!' at him  anyway he played guitar on Fake Tales Of San Francisco meanwhile Alex had a little jump around the stage with his new found freedom while singing the song, at the end he even got hit by a glow stick from the crowd  (they were handed out by The Klaxons considering all the 'rave' thing. The highlight of the night were the three songs after that though as Mardy Bum immediatly followed that and it was the one that EVERYONE sang along to and we everyone even stood still and sang which probably helped a little considering we've all been jumping around all night as usual and so squashed trying to stop girls in polka dot dresses trying to elbow their through even though there is NO space to get into  after that it was 'When The Sun Goes Down' which could be any better, I had no room but I tried to jump around anyway as I couldn't resist despite that and being covered with beer and water thrown from the crowd, finally they always save the best until last as they kicked into A Certain Romance  there was no oncore (sp?) and the setlists and even the towels that they all used to get the sweat off them were thrown into the crowd  I found my cousin who also and we spoke to her for a bit while laughing at the six people fighting for Alex's towel  it was a night to remember and probably one of the best gigs I've been to :D I've never been so sweaty. I even managed to jump on the next train back home as soon as we got out so I somehow got back before midnight :o Anyway here's the full setlist which I got from NME.com I DIDN'T memorise it :

'I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor'

'Still Take You Home'

'You Probably Couldn't See For The Lights But You Were Looking Straight At Me'

'Leave Before The Lights Come On'

'Cigarette Smoker Fiona'

'Perhaps Vampires Is A Bit Strong But...'

'Dancing Shoes'

'Riot Van'

'The View From The Afternoon'

'Red Light Indicates Doors Are Secured'

'Bigger Boys And Stolen Sweethearts'

'From The Ritz To The Rubble'

'Fake Tales Of San Francisco'

'Mardy Bum'

'When The Sun Goes Down'

'A Certain Romance'

I'll put this all in a separate thread too ;)

So how have you found the new Lostprophets album then Nicky. :D

Well I bought it , yes even though I was tempted by the Snow Patrol limited edition but I wanted to keep hold of some of the cash I had ^_^ Anyway I was suprised at how good it was :o it certainly p*sses all over their first album :D Probably only one or two songs that I don't think much of :D My favourite tracks are Everybody's Screaming!!!, For All These Times Kid, For All These Times, The New Transmission and Always All Ways (Apologies, Glances & Messed Up Chances) :dancing: as expected it's a blatant jump on the emo bandwagon to cash-in while it's in fashion just like TFSOP was with the Nu-Metal fad. -_- That's just about the only bad word I have to say about it otherwise it's one of my top three albums of the year. :cheer:

And Andre you're right, yes I went to see AM and I had a great time like it says  I tried to post that as a myspace comment and it was nearly three times too long

Its a good album, but its not my favourite album so far this year. ^_^ My fav tracks are roughly the same. I really wasn't keen on 4:AM Forever but its really grown on me lately. :o The only problem I have with the album is that I can't see what the third single is gonna be as they all seem a bit emo-friendly if you know what I mean and that sort of stuff doesn't get too much Radio airplay. Saying that though I hope Always All Ways is the next single released. ^_^

I can see Everybody Combat and Can't Catch Tommorow being singles as they would probably be the most 'catchy' out of the remaining songs and the titles aren't too long like some of the others. Always All Ways would be great but it's not the type of song I think they'd want to release as it's VERY emo.
I suppose it is emo, but then again all the remaining tracks are very emo. I like Everyday Combat but I think thats way too emo to be released with the screaming in it and everything but thats the catchiest song on the album. I can only see them releasing three singles of this album TBH.

Didn't they only release three off the last album? (Last Train Home, Burn, Burn and Last Summer  )
