Yup. ^_^ Its a well crafted song and its got a very good beat to it. I reckon it will be the first #1 of 2007.

No offence to Mr Prydz, but even I could take a line from a random 80s song, add a beat and some effects to it and call it "music", and i've never even touched a DJ set in my life

Eric Prydz is cool. I have great memories of 2004 when his first track came out. ^_^ I think I must have been one of the only straight males who didn't make a real fuss about the video though.

I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE 'Call On Me'... it's a rancid turd-stain - such a boring song <_<

The worst thing about it was the fact that other dance acts jumped on the bandwagon, and the next thing you knew, there were 3 or 4 dance tracks being released a week

Nothing wrong with jumping on a good ole bandwagon. :P

Like I say though Call On Me brings back great memories of me in Center Parcs that year. ^_^

There is when they all sound exactly the same

And the only effect that song has on me is that every time I hear it i'm filled with rage and hatred, and immediately get the urge to take a shovel to my radio -_-

Some samey songs are good though. :D As long as there not by the same artists. ^_^

The song itself grates on me now, but back in the day I used to really like it. :party2:

A few I don't mind, but after Eric Prydz chart-raping, there were a good dozen copycat artists emerging, all releasing samey-sounding tripe -_-

Definate low point of 2004, that song -_- But then 2004 wasn't a particularly good year altogether :(

I can't remember much about 2004 if i'm being honest. I can only really remember stuff from June to August and then I can't really remember much else. That summer though was a BRILLIANT summer for me.

If you can't remember much about a year, it means there wasn't much worth remembering, imo -_-

The only thing I can remember about 2004 was it was the year Razorlight broke the top ten for the first time with 'Golden Touch', and The Libertines were kept off no.1 by Prydz $h!t... another reason why I hate 'Call On Me' 'Can't Stand Me Now' is one of my fave songs ever

I could really remember much muisic wise about 2004. :( I only started to get intro music properly around the end of 2004. :(

I started getting into it in 2004 with Razorlight, Embrace, Keane and Snow Patrol, but 2005 and this year have been the defining years for my musical taste ^_^

Bleugh it wasn't until Christmas time when I got loads of CD's until I started liking music. ^_^ Then it all hit off from there and by the Summer of 2005 I was REALLY into my music and then I finally joined CC. :cheer:

Actually, I think Coldplay was the first indie band I liked properly when they released 'Shiver', 'Yellow' and 'Trouble' back in 2000! 'A Rush Of Blood..' was the first album I bought

First album I bought was Evanescence - Fallen. I then went off music for about a year for some reason. Before getting back into it around the end of 2004. :D

After buying Evanescence's album i'm surprised you didn't go off music for life

I don't think i've ever bought an album and then regretted it... although I have bought a few albums and then been a bit disappointed by them :(

The Top 40 isn't that bad. :D There are some very good tracks in the Top 40 this week. ^_^

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHA

Man, that was the best laugh i've had in the top 40 in ages!

I loved the reactions when Razorlight denied Christina a top ten single.. priceless

They weren't happy, but then what they don't realise is that I have to sit through that every week when my favourite songs fail to enter the top ten (snow patrol, keane and the feeling to name but a few), so it was nice to see the tables turned ^_^

I would have preffered the Christina song to enter the Top 10 in all honesty.

I like America but its had its time and I like Christina, so I would have liked Hurt to go Top 10, but bleugh, you can't have everything you want.
