I'd actually be quite pleased with a Bosnia victory, but not in the way this one turned out. The UK were leading until the last ten votes!

Indeed, but that didn't finish last/bottom five either! :lol: And in any case, you say a stronger performance would've helped Albania 2009 (which I still dispute being an event performance - the only big event performance from 2009 that comes to mind is Ukraine's, which is about how I could see Eric doing if he did badly) - even Eric's biggest critics admit the performance is one of the slickest going for this year's contest!

I think you mean Graham Norton :P I don't think it would've been a potential winner in any year, it was a little too subtle as a track and not really universal enough. It could've been a top ten in a few though with an ideal position and a slightly less bizarre performance.

While I wouldn't really like a Turkish win (nor really expect it), having 4 of the big 5 in the remainder of the top 5 would be something, if only to put to rest the criticism Eurovision gets for being 'anti-western'. Quite often when I've tried this, one of the contending countries has always been the last to vote; when Germany's voted for all of the top 5 bar Turkey with their 12 left, it's not hard to guess where it's going, and anti-climatic too.
