The only way they'd "not be here" if it wasn't for her is if she's one of the artists that inspired them to go into music. It is possible though, since Rihanna and Lady Gaga have both said they were inspired by Madonna, although we don't know to what extent, obviously. I've never seen Katy Perry say anywhere that Madonna inspired her though.
