Posted July 28, 200618 yr Lee Ryan has been dropped by record label SonyBMG after his debut solo album flopped  His debut single. When I Think Of You, only scraped into the charts at No.15. And his album went in at a disappointing No.6 before quickly disappearing.
July 28, 200618 yr His album was so boring and dull. He has such an amazing voice but seriously needs some decent songs.
July 28, 200618 yr His debut single. When I Think Of You, only scraped into the charts at No.15. I thought the debut single was 'Army Of Lovers'? But yes, this was bound to happen sooner or later. Duncan James next methinks. ^_^
July 28, 200618 yr really ? he's doing so well in Italy... Maybe it's only Sony UK... LifeLight He is doing well in Italy but with probably the same sort of sales as he's had in the UK, only with higher chart placings, also, another place that you can be "big in" is Asia, getting number one's there doesn't mean massive sales as most of the Asian music market is practically dead that way.
July 28, 200618 yr That wasn't his debut single, like Aly said, Army Of Lovers was and that did quite well ^_^
July 28, 200618 yr Army of lovers wa his first single.. non? well this should mean we will gte rid of duncan james aswel :)... simon can saty..oh get rid of anthony.. the little knome
July 28, 200618 yr I remember the days when a number 15 single and a number 6 album would be celebrated by record companies. Oh, what an age we live in!
July 28, 200618 yr I make it a rule never ever to believe anything written by Victoria Newton, unless collaborated elsewhere - and even then rarely as other papers / mags are so lazy and just take their stories from her. It would be a shame if there was any truth in it.
July 28, 200618 yr That would be a shame if true. I liked Lee in Blue and he has got a very good voice, but I must admit I preferred Simon's solo stuff. Hope its not true.
July 28, 200618 yr I'm not surprised. I mean yeah a #3 hit but two singles miss the top 10 and the album I heard hasn' even sold 100,000 copies? Anthony's gone already I believe
July 28, 200618 yr I remember the days when a number 15 single and a number 6 album would be celebrated by record companies. Oh, what an age we live in! It means nothing if they drop down the charts like bricks though, selling VERY little in the long run.
July 28, 200618 yr :( I like his album, well maybe he gets another opportunity with a small label or something.
