Lee Ryan has been dropped by record label SonyBMG after his debut solo album flopped :lol:

 

His debut single. When I Think Of You, only scraped into the charts at No.15. And his album went in at a disappointing No.6 before quickly disappearing.

His album was so boring and dull. He has such an amazing voice but seriously needs some decent songs.

He is doing well in Italy but with probably the same sort of sales as he's had in the UK, only with higher chart placings, also, another place that you can be "big in" is Asia, getting number one's there doesn't mean massive sales as most of the Asian music market is practically dead that way.

That wasn't his debut single, like Aly said, Army Of Lovers was and that did quite well ^_^

I make it a rule never ever to believe anything written by Victoria Newton, unless collaborated elsewhere - and even then rarely as other papers / mags are so lazy and just take their stories from her.

 

It would be a shame if there was any truth in it.

 

 

That would be a shame if true. I liked Lee in Blue and he has got a very good voice, but I must admit I preferred Simon's solo stuff.
