DO NOT CLICK IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE EPISODE YET.

Manly tears at that preview. They've been writing this storyline for the past year, impressive how they kept it all so quiet.

Not seen these 3 new episodes yet but so excited after seeing the reactions :o
To say the episode took a turn I did not expect is rather an understatement. Not sure how I feel about it yet, though.

I'm split on how to feel too. Does it feel genuine for the show? But the payoff should be so big (the direction the show appears to be taking now from the preview of the rest of the season) and my reaction

certainly isn't devastated for Will's character

that I can't imagine us seeing it as a bad thing by the end of the season!

Yeah, that's pretty much where I stand with it. I'm kind of amazed we didn't know about it! One of the good things about not being a HUGE show I guess.
Ok my episode didn't have the COMING UP bit. AMAZING. Well, mainly Diane V David Lee and Peter and Alicia.
I'm still in shock, I didn't see it coming at all. And like everyone else, I'm really impressed they managed to keep it under wraps. I can't wait to see how the show progresses without him, I can definitely see a lot of Emmy Awards coming their way.

i am in SHOCK. good god, so gripping, so incredible.

this is one of the best seasons of any television show i have ever watched.

the rest of the season looks to be incredible.

f***.

oh my god

Although that does make sense if you remember that conversation with Kalinda (

"Life is overrated"

).

If only I watched this episode not knowing that something big is going to happen. Still, AMAZING.

I think we all knew this was going to be a difficult episode to watch, well I did anyway, but oh my goodness David Lee's reaction properly got to me. It's kind of how I tend to react in such situations, but it was just so well done and brilliantly acted and yes it did make me cry. Also Diane's f*** YOU to that c**t was just amazing, Christine Baranski definitely gave the performance of the episode for me, pulling it all together perfectly when needed when obv she was so far from that in reality.

Really like the way they backed the whole 'life if shit' thing up this week with the missed call/voicemail and then Alicia simply never knowing what Will wanted to talk about. Not that I needed the situation to be justified, but that kind of detail and what it means for her makes the whole thing that much better and is once again testament to the Kings for how important little things can be to the story. Also the silent car ride was brilliantly done too.

Guessing next week we have another direct follow on, really looking forward to the Peter and Alicia showdown too, what with the mood she's currently in *.* Oh and of course Diane V David Lee should be awesome.

ALSO, did anyone notice that Kalinda's accent has been, shall we say, WOBBLY of late? Maybe it's because she's in a couple of British things at the minute, but I did find it to be a bit distracting, noticed it last week when she shouted 'paramedics' too.

I did notice Kalinda's accent, tbh I just put it down to all the emotion that she was portraying and it kinda helped the performance for me. I loved her little stunt with Jeffrey.

Such a fantastic episode and it all felt so realistic. Alicia, Kalinda, Diane, Cary, all great. This was the first time I really liked David Lee.

The promo for the next episode looks VERY interesting for Peter/Alicia. Two week wait :(

Ha yeah. 'See you later, Alicia'.

Stunning episode. Cary's deposition *.*

That was so gripping. Much more than a death on Game Of Thrones.

I hope they all get Emmys thrown at them.

Well, to be honest an episode without a death in GoT is more of a surprise than otherwise!

I can now declare 5.05 my favourite episode of the show so far  So dramatic!

Nearly fully caught up now :cheer:

oh my f***ing god @ 5.15. I feel as if the show's always been very 'gentle' with its drama (wasn't particularly impressed with the way they handled the Kalinda/Alicia fall-out after the secret was exposed (YES it still annoys me even now x)), but the acting, writing and basically everything was spot on in that episode! *.*

The following episode was extremely emotional as well. wiping the tears up even now.

Ahh yes! So peachy  My only complaint is that Finn Polmar's existence in the end felt a little pointless. I hope he comes back next season with an improved storyline.

Did not expect that from Diane at all, but that's amazing *.*

The argument Cary and Alicia had in the office was brilliant as well! I hope they don't end up going somewhere with that ending for Alicia though!
