Get Jackie and Veronica a spin off where they get drunk and GET BITCHY *.*

Also, Diane better come out of this like a PHOENIX FROM THE ASHES because she really did give it her all in the face of Satan's left testicle (Canning). I'm a bit torn about the Alicia running for State's Attorney thing. If S6 is the end (and really who knows at this stage, ratings wise it ought to be though) and she does run and does win it would bring the show full circle, from devoted wife to basically doing exactly what Peter did at the start (presumably better, too) whilst juggling everything else. Would be a nice statement/message for the whole show I think. On the other hand I don't want her to 'settle' for that when she can clearly do much more with Florrick Agos with Diane on board. An Alicia Diane courtroom tag team would be AMAZING.

^OMFG best news ever.

She's been stellar in The Good Wife.

Awesome on True Blood.

But under utilized in Person of Interest.

She's amazing. Deserves her own show for sure.

Don't get too excited, it's only the producer's idea. CBS would never greenlight a TGW spin-off when the original's not doing that great. Or would they?

Is The Good Wife not doing well?

I'm assuming they're probably just north of 10 Million on average per season. Not as good as when they started out.. but still decent.

Let it be known, I hate spinoffs. I wouldn't care for a Elsbeth Tascioni spinoff, I just want Carrie Preston on my TV.

Ratings haven't dropped that much overall, but in the key demographic it's doing pretty poorly, for example it was 23rd overall this season and 78th in the demo.

Also, much as I ADORE Elsbeth, a spin-off would clearly be an awful idea. Part of the reason she is so good is because she is the exception to the rule in TGW and counterpoints the often rigid thoughts and actions of many of the characters (well, until season 5 anyway) and so on her own it would be a case of diluting what makes her so amazing and nobody would win. Not that it will ever happen though. Even if TGW was a big hit spinning it off wouldn't be all that easy.

Unless you make it a dramedy and ship it to Showtime :w00t:

Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE it to happen, but I would rather Elsbeth remain the amazing guest character she is than be watered down and SULLIED. Even Canning's shtick was starting to grate after 4 consecutive episodes. I'm not sure CBS could afford MJF as a regular though, so hopefully he won't be forever ruined in S6.

Ahh yes! So peachy  My only complaint is that Finn Polmar's existence in the end felt a little pointless. I hope he comes back next season with an improved storyline.

Matthew Goode upgraded to series regular :w00t: :yahoo:

Well they do need another main male figure now that Will is dead. Plus it could be fun having someone actually NICE in the ASA office for a change. Unless the 3 episodes I'm yet to watch contain some gamechanger~
This may only excite ME, but they have released a new soundtrack for the show with the AMAZING S5 music included *.*
Well Trust played during the shibaru episode so yeah they do have some great songs played during the show *.*

It's actually the original score by David Buckley. I came here to post about it. Downloaded and about to have my first listen :cheer:

I am LIVING FOR the updated Hitting The Fan. I downloaded the version used in the show from DB's website, but this one has a much bigger, more orchestral feel about it. Also loving that the theme tune is essentially 2.5 minutes of (amazing) build up to the 10 seconds of intro we know.
