44 - It is a highlight. Maybe you'll feel better if I told you Riverside went top 3 in my chart at the start of the year... ;) :D

Really? :o

How dare I miss such an event in the Personal Charts forum. :P Although in saying that, I only discovered 'Riverside' myself about 4 or 5 weeks ago thanks to Denmark's singles top 10 so maybe I did but it didn't register at the time. It has quickly become one of my favourite songs of 2011 and I don't want it to look like I'm being biased purely because I entered it into BJSC. I really do think 'Riverside' is an excellent song.

10 - This is comfortably their highest peak. The next is All Rise which entered at number 16 for one week when my chart was a top 20  .

How long have you been compiling your own chart? If I'd been compiling a chart in 2001, I'm sure 'All Rise' would've made my top 20 too. It's a shame that they went on to release so much forgettable rubbish but thanks to declining physical sales, they still managed to get top 5 with those tracks. 'I Can' will definitely enter my chart in a few weeks along with any other Eurovision entries that make a big enough impact on me. At the moment those songs include:

Amaury Vassili - Sognu

Ell & Nikki - Running Scared

Kati Wolf - What About My Dreams?

Yüksek Sadakat - Live It Up

10 - Netherlands, Estonia and Latvia were my other favourites in 2000. Denmark was OK, but the XTM version is leagues better. Finland could have been awesome if they'd sent Nightwish, but alas that never happened :( . How strange, Ines doesn't sound anything like Britney

50 - Same, and at the moment I can't where it will improve.

10. Oh I forgot about Norway actually, I love My Heart Goes Boom! Agreed about XTM, such a great version of the song  Strange that a cover of a Eurovision winner would go on to become such a huge UK hit! I heard that about Nightwish, did that damp suib that they did end up sending seriously beat them in the NF  I know, a very confusing comparison!

50. I know what you mean, but the second half of the year's always better than the first for non-Eurovision music, it's when all of the decent artists hoping for big album sales bring their stuff out

Since 1998! Back then I used to note them down in notepads

I'm quite surprised to see you've taken to the Turkish entrant :o

10 - Nightwish were scuppered by the jury, as is often the case in these situations :drama:

I'm intrigued by your #1 artists... I didn't realise that it was your country when I submitted my (scandalously) disallowed votes but it was one of only two tracks that even vaguely interested me in the competition.

Do you recommend any of their other tracks as I think I may quite enjoy them...

I reckon you might love them, however most of their tracks are far more uptempo. I'll PM you now!
