It is all opinion, but surely this being 'one of the best pop songs of all time' is a bit premature? I mean it's not even the best pop song on her album, or even on the half of the album it belongs on (amazing as it is)!

Just kidding, I'd have to say you're right though, its up there. Maybe not THE best, but somewhere up on the list. This is my third favorite song on the album after E.T. and Teenage Dream, though. Not sure where those would be.

 

Just thought of something, if LFN gets top 10 soon, it'll be right in there with E.T., thus continuing her immense top 10 streak once E.T. drops out. :o

Has anyone noticed that the song is #2 on iTunes in Ireland ? :o :o Where is it in Britain? This is amazing news!!

He is entitled to an opinion and I am entitled to question it (especially if its RIDICULOUS.)

 

I wasn't keen on the song to start with but now with the help of the video it's really growing. I think it's perhaps one of her best singles from this era - although all of them fizzled out for me pretty quickly.

I hope it can climb to number 1. Radio play for the track is massive in dublin especially stations such as Spin 1038, FM104 and 98fm.

Its currently at #18 in the UK

Its doing brilliant considering its the 5th single taken from a summer 2010 Album

It's 18 on UK itunes and yes, is number 1 on US itunes

 

It's doing very well on the US radio as well. Today's update:

 

KATY PERRY - Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.): 31.783 (+ 2.689)

Katy should be #1 in around 2-3 weeks time with Last Friday Night as her airplay increases

1) I can't believe Rebecca Black is only 13. I feel sick, as I musta refered to her a hot in the last week many times. AND she looks about 17 in the video.

 

2) I hope Katy doesn't retire Kathy. I think she's another favourite part of this era.
