I don't think on air/on sale really works unless there is a huge hype surrounding you.

 

Perhaps the next step for it to be successful is for artists to promote before the planned release (I mean interviews obviously, maybe the odd performance?).

I have to say, im not overly keen on the song, like nadine i just dont think its anything special, the solo material for me just makes me more eager to see them reform, they definitly do better music as a group rather than solo.

Record labels need to catch up with the times and understand how to utilise on air/on sale properly. The promotion is still weeks away! This is going to look like it's flopping to radio stations and it'll just continue to drop on iTunes.

I have to say that whilst I pretty much loved this from first listen, it really has grown on me so much to the point that it's one of my songs of the year.

I hate to say it but the song is kinda grating on me now :( I still love it but I fear the more I listen, the more I will dislike it (DILEMMAS)

I'm preferring "Dance The Rain" and "Porcelain Heart". But "Beat" is still a great song.

Really think the promo needed to be now but hopefully she get second wind she will need it as she won't be top 100 at that stage I shouldn't think

Downloaded this tonight, amazing song. Wasn't sure about it at first, but the chorus is really great. Hope it rises.

Woah #64 if I'm not mistaking. Hopefully it'll rise again after some promo.

T4 performance:

 

It's alright, she definitely improved throughout it; the first verse was very shaky (but that's because the lyrics don't really fit into the beat), but the choruses were good and she looked like she enjoyed it. ^_^

I hate seeing how this has been such a flop, hopefully it'll somehow pick up a bit...

This has been remixed with Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep' by the Daft Beatles. It's actually rather good; it seems every song mashes well with 'Rolling In The Deep'! :lol:
