1. Me too! I pre-ordered the single, Agnes Obel's album and J.Lo's album yesterday night, and the first two have been sent out already! I own most UK entries on single from 1996-present, although I'm missing Imaani, Nicki French, James Fox and Josh Dubovie (was there even a CD single available?). Hopefully what's left of Blue's fanbase, plus the Euro loons like you & I can push it slightly higher up the chart with the physical release, as I'll probably download the EP too - I don't even know what the CD single tracklisting is...

4. Really? :o I think it's excellent, similar style to Bad Romance which was #1 for me for 7 weeks, and FAR better than Born This Way

10. Yes! It's too good to miss out :wub: This is Slovenia's first top ten hit for me since Platin went to #3 in 2004 (somehow :lol:)

20. It's very 70s disco crossed with 00s dance, so basically like their early material - I love it though, it's got an instant hook

57. It's a lovely album, some of the songs are taking a while to sink in to my memory but it's one of those that's great as a whole regardless - nice mix of vocal tracks and piano instrumentals :wub: I've ordered the deluxe edition! Yes, she needs to capitalise to get those extra 3 sales :rofl:

61. I think it could with AATW and Radio 1 playlisting behind it (which could happen). I can see it going top 20/30 I guess although European dance music is VERY out of vogue in the UK at the minute, well everything is apart from urban/dance crossovers. At least dance is dominating the charts again, I just wish it was Scandinavian females singing over the top of the tracks instead of US rappers :lol:

66. I completely agree :o Getting the CD really helped, I didn't have an HQ version beforehand...

69. Good but there's a fair bit of well produced filler, nowhere near as good as Trip The Light Fantastic, but then few albums are!

 

01 - HMV have been really good with their shipping over the bank holidays this year so far! There was a Josh Dubovie single, but I had to import it from Bea Records :lol: . I hope I Can can get a top 30 placing at least, I also have no idea about the CD single tracklisting. I'm hoping it'll have the instrumental and maybe the extended version, but I'm expecting it to be a 1 track disc :(

04 - I think that's why I'm not overly keen, it sounds almost identical to Bad Romance - I was hoping for something a bit more innovative.

10 - Platin :drama: :kink: . Slovenia have done alright in my chart over the years with all but two of their entries since 1999 going top 20 on my chart. Five of those went top 10, but only Nusa Derenda went to number one.

20 - Sounds great, I shall have to hunt down an mp3!

57 - :lol: . It is strange how it's suddenly getting a UK re-release next week though!

61 - It's the title of the track that makes me think it won't sell here. "Me & My Microphone" sounds like something from some random kids show :lol: .

69 - Ahh that's a shame. I'm hoping I'll still like it a lot.

1. I'm just surprised that they have the items in stock so soon before the release! When I worked in Asda the new releases used to come the previous Friday at the earliest! Oh right, I downloaded the EP from iTunes but wouldn't have bothered with the physical, did it cost you? I hope so too, I expect it will debut somewhere inside the top 75, god knows where. The following week it might climb a bit as the contest approaches but the week after, after the contest boost, it should climb much higher, top 20 at least hopefully! Indeed, the iTunes EP has the radio edit, extended version, instrumental and video so I'll download that too.

10. I know :drama: They rarely ever do well in my chart at all - I liked their 2009 entry a lot, and this one obviously, but usually they're quite far down my rankings...

20. I'm not sure that I've seen one yet, I've just been watching the Youtube vid! And it's an extended mix too, still waiting to hear a radio edit!

57. I thought the same thing :lol: But I definitely want the album physically and a bonus live disc just made it all the more appealing a purchase!

61. You could be right, I definitely know what you mean - she should change the title to just 'Microphone' for the UK market - I don't know why it's not called that in the first place seeing as the Swedish title is the direct translation of that...

69. Well you liked Bittersweet a lot didn't you? So you probably will like it a lot more than me. I'm more a fan of 'pop/disco Sophie' than 'house Sophie' which she seems to have been for her last few singles...

I think I paid about £7 for the Josh Dubovie single which was a lot, but at least it kept my string of UK entries together. Fingers crossed that's the same tracklisting as the CD!

10 - :( . I think it's because I quite like Balkan pop, and the more poppy entries they've sent have been pretty superb.

20 - If you find one, let me know please!

1. £7! Wow, very loyal - I have no idea why a physical wasn't released in the UK, it probably buggered up a lot of ESC loons collections! I doubt it will be somehow, I think we're looking at a 2 tracker at best :(
