May 2, 201115 yr good to see nero as the highest nentry....shows that radio 1 can make the chart far more exciting with new music getting heavy rotation in comparison with commercial radio - no doubt they will start playing guilt now its top though!! But there must be also a demand for the song. Nero have a good buzz behind them.
May 2, 201115 yr good to see nero as the highest nentry....shows that radio 1 can make the chart far more exciting with new music getting heavy rotation in comparison with commercial radio - no doubt they will start playing guilt now its top though!! Radio 1 support new artists more, but you'll find commercial radio were playing songs regularly such as Beautiful People by Chris Brown and Set Fire to the Rain by Adele for weeks before Radio 1 do. Even with Chase & Status, Capital had Blind Faith in heavy rotation before Radio 1 did, and that was despite the fact that Radio 1 even premiered the song. Obviously though, Capital wouldn't have played Blind Faith so early if Chase & Status hadn't had previous chart hits. So basically replace "music" with "artists" in your post, and you're correct.
