July 12, 201114 yr Author It does come after in terms of singles, but Make You Feel My Love charted before Cold Shoulder (due to album downloads) so thats why I put it MYFML before CS. Hometown Glory would have been before Chasing Pavements too if it was listed in terms of single releases ;)

July 25, 201113 yr Author Added Airplay Chart Runs! :D I haven't checked 2009-Aug 2010 in the Airplay archives, but I don't think any Adele songs would have charted Top 50 in that period. Also, Hometown Glory did appear on the Airplay Charts on its original release in 2007, but it was outside the Top 50 :D Edited July 25, 201113 yr by liamk97
July 25, 201113 yr So SFTTR is Adele's 4th airplay #1 and 6th airplay top 10 :D Shame about MYFML ruining her top 10 run, but then it initially broke her sales top 20 run before XF (which only really boosts sales, not airplay - it's very rare for a song to re-peak on radio airplay after its initial run :P so it's pretty good she did go 11 places higher in 2011 than in 2008 and at least it restored her top 40 run I guess, but that's not really an achievement) It feels wrong that Rolling In The Deep was never airplay #1 while Cold Shoulder, Someone Like You and Set Fire To The Rain were - I swear I've heard RITD on the radio far more than any of those three! (I did hear Chasing Pavements a *lot* at the time though so that's an understandable #1) Oh dear at Cold Shoulder's airplay run after it hit #1 :o 1-26, must be the second worst drop from #1 in recent years, beaten by Fairytale Of New York which snuck a week at #1 with convenient dates and then vanished from the top 50 Are you planning to do TV airplay runs as well? :kink: They shouldn't be that impressive, she's never had big TV support (and she's not even bothered with SFTTR thus far) Edited July 26, 201113 yr by Bré
