What a load of SHIT.

That press conference was all kinds of tragic. I wish someone would just kill Jedward, they really are from the bottom of the barrel of humanity.

It could literally NOT BE A WORSE DRAW for Eric. Hungary to Germany pretty much contains ALL of the event performances.

I think this will be the year when the draw doesn't have too much of an effect. No matter how late they're going on, I just can't see many of those countries performing in the final ten slots finishing in the top ten.

That's good for France following 6 uptempos :( . It's definitely the UK vs. France now, and I sincerely hope it's the former that wins!
FUCK YEAH @ Sweden drawing 7th between Ireland and Estonia #dead

That's a bloody TERRIBLE second half though. Were it not for Austria, Azerbaijan and Slovenia, you'd probably be better turning off after Germany. And those three have screwed themselves too! UGH if only Eric could've gotten 20th :manson:

Just looked up what Caroban (Serbia's entry) means in English. It means Magical.

Was it just me or was anyone else imagining it to be "Caravan"? Now that I think about it, seems so silly to just assume that.

Looks like there's a lot of countries screwed on saturday. :(

Jedward will also be on in the first hour now with that slot, so it will be interesting to see how many viewers desert Britain's Got Talent this year to see them.

I felt that all good performances are VERY concentrated, too! How bizarre sometimes it is...

But I feel pretty fine for UK between Switzerland and Moldova, I think they'll stand out in a positive way.

As for Eric... obviously bad for him, but it's all about fortune!

Oh, the draw always has a massive effect - look how much it's screwed over the big uptempos this year, who will now not stand out as much. Being late CAN be an advantage but it isn't necessarily. Contrast is always a big issue - take Iceland and Albania being next to each other and Ireland and Belarus being next to each other last year. I'll whack out a quick draw analysis in a minute...

I don't think we've had a contest before where the final five performers are as good as redundant. Strange to see all of the average tracks getting the excellent draws.

But then the likes of Finland and Spain in 2009 performed last/2nd to last and still both managed to finish in the bottom three, so I don't think it's everything.

Just have to hope that coming on after the car crash that will be Jedward will work for Eric rather than against him.

Out of curiosity, where are the Ad breaks?

I think we over analyse the draw slightly tbh, especially now you can vote when you like and half of the votes come from the juries! That said, the UK and France both have very good positions! With France, I don't think it makes a blind bit of difference where they perform though as it's unique enough to stand out wherever it is. Definitely good for us though, and I'm glad Ireland appear to be slightly screwed. :D

Serbia is MAGNIFICENT :o Agree about the other 4 though.

It's not too bad, it's a big contrast. Hungary through to Russia have completely screwed themselves though, and France is all but guaranteed victory.

I don't particularly like the french track, my clear favourite of the entire contest has to be Azerbaijan now, not too fussed over Hungary.

I love to see where Italy come, since they are back into the competition.

Yet Hungary remains in your signature.

BAFFLING.

Sweden and ireland

France and Russia

UK before an ultimate freak show...
