March 6, 20205 yr Did Izzie actually appear then or was it just a reference explaining what happened? I really need to catch up, I'm seasons behind now though. I think I stopped around the mid-way point of season 14
March 28, 20205 yr Due to what’s happening the season will finish early, in 2 weeks time to be precise on April 9th. 4 episodes remain unshot so I hope they just carry those into the new season or re-work them as we’re not going to have much of a finale
April 15, 20205 yr So Station 19 had already finished filming and so will air as normal. Grey’s characters are going to appear. It was revealed today that there was going to be a death of a major character in Grey’s and we could see some effect of it in Station 19’s last couple of episodes. I doubt though that maybe the death will happen and they’ll push it to Season 17, but I reckon the planned explosion will crossover anyway. It’ll be odd seeing Station 19 especially if there are any crossover/continuity issues as it airs first in the states and can lead on to the next episode of Grey’s which has happened a hell of a lot this series.
April 28, 20205 yr This is honestly my favorite show ever, even at season 16 it's better than most shows in their prime!
April 29, 20205 yr Meredith, Teddy, Amelia and Carina will appear in the Station 19 finale in a coupe of weeks. The episode has been edited to account for the cut to the number of Grey’s episodes
August 1, 20204 yr Winston Ndugu and Cormac Hayes have been promoted to regular characters for Season 17 whilst Carina DeLuca has been upgraded to a regular character for Station 19!
September 9, 20204 yr Filming has now recommenced. Scenes that were cut from the end of Season 16 will feature in the premiere of Season 17 with storylines picking up where they left off
September 9, 20204 yr I’m so excited for the next season! I’m rewatching right now - Heather Brook was such an underrated character!
December 4, 20231 yr The actors recently returned to work and ABC have confirmed that Season 20 will start airing in the US on 14th March (along with Station 19 Season 7). Taryn Helm has been upgraded to the regular cast and Meredith will only feature in a voiceover capacity.
April 7, 20241 yr As a Non-OG Grey's watcher, I had to binge heavily to get caught up, which I did about 6 years ago. I think we can all pinpoint a time when the show stopped being amazing but for me, it's always been watchable, I did get Grey's fatigue a few years ago and paused after Season 18. I'm starting to jump back in now, I guess I took enough time off because I couldn't for the life of me remember who is still on the show, who is with whom romantically, etc. But I see Teddy and Owen are still around <_< I think they should just keep this going for as long as they can. Haven't been able to get into any of the spinoffs. This show has a high rewatch factor. Especially the first seasons. Perfection.
April 27, 20241 yr Now on a 3 week break in the UK (because it's had the same in the US). It'll return this week in the US but for Disney+ in the UK it'll be back on 16th May Edited April 27, 20241 yr by lewistgreen
April 27, 20241 yr Jesus is this still going?! Most dangerous occupation on the world, wpekin at that deadly hospital!!
June 20, 20241 yr Exit confirmed for Levi Schmitt :( I also heard via Deadline that Midori Francis, who plays surgical intern Dr. Mika Yasuda, will exit the ABC drama as a series regular after two seasons. I’m sad Schmitt is out, I loved his character but they really struggled to develop his character and definitely flopped with his romantic life. I’m less dissatisfied with Yasuda’s exit as I really hate these Interns. I could see they were trying to develop another “Core Four” but if someone’s already leaving after 2 seasons - FLOP! A number of contracts are actually up now so expect more exits!
