artin Solveig on that notorious track leak

When Madonna took to social media earlier this month to beg fans to stop posting a leaked track from her upcoming album, no one was more troubled than French producer Martin Solveig.

We had a terrible leak ... and everyone is very upset about what happened, said Solveig, who is one of an elite few producers working on the massive Madonna 2012 release.

The flap unfolded two weeks ago when a demo version of the Solveig-Madonna track Give Me All Your Love hit the blogosphere, much to Madges chagrin.

The Material Girl tweeted that real fans wouldnt have leaked her music before it was finished. The dance-pop track allegedly also will feature M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj, but Solveig, who plays Royale on Friday in his first-ever Boston show, said he cant talk about the track.

But he did say working with Madonna is a dream come true.

I would have considered this as impossible, he told the Herald from a tour stop in Miami. People ask who you would dream to work with. To me working with Madonna was not really something I could do. When I got the call, first I thought it was a joke. And then when I realized it wasnt, I was real-ly overwhelmed. The collaboration has been an enormous joy and an enormous surprise.

Solveig, 35, is the latest Euro-pean DJ to cross over into the U.S. pop world, joining the likes of David Guetta, Afrojack, Avicii and other top dance-music artists. In addition to his work with Madonna, Solveig (born Martin Picandet) had a hit last year with Hello, one of three tracks with indie darlings Dragonette on his latest full-length release Smash. The disc first dropped this summer in Europe.

The album Smash is finished and ready to be released in the U.S. Im also working on some different versions, some remixes, he said. Im touring the whole U.S. ... which is overwhelming and great. There is a whole expectation (here) of electronic music and myself. The U.S. crowds appear to be a very, very good crowd. Its great fun.

While Solveig has benefited handsomely from the blogosphere and the press over the Madonna leak, at the end of the day, he says dance music is all about the live performance.

The interesting part is, always to come to the show because theres surprises, he said. And theres dancing, which is something you dont have on the Internet.

The Queen of pop took to her facebook page and posted the following:"We are happy to confirm that Madonna will perform in the Bridgestone Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Sunday, February 5, as announced during tonight's game on NBC! The Material Girl has partnered with a creative team from Cirque du Soleil, Jamie King, and multimedia artists from Moment Factory, to create a signature performance for the Super Bowl's Halftime Show, which will be broadcast worldwide.

Madonna has been confirmed as the performer for the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show on February 5, and "Extra's" Jerry Penacoli caught up with the "W.E." director at her film's screening at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC.

Excited for her new gig, Madonna exclaimed, "It's a huge deal, my God. To be as exciting as the football game is a huge challenge. And to get your stage set up in eight minutes, another huge challenge."

The singer will take the stage at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Feb. 5, 2012.

Madge is teaming up with Cirque du Soleil to create what is being called a "signature performance."

Two days before football's biggest event, "W.E." opens in theaters, and the mega star talked about the Roberto Cavalli number she wore for the premiere, saying, "I tried to dress more like a tuxedo kind of thing."

In addition to her movie, Madonna's new album, in which she collaborates with rapper Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., will drop in the spring. "They're both singing on my record," she said, adding, "I'm singing, too!"

The single and or album NEEDS to be released straight after the superbowl gig.

She confirmed Masterpiece is on the album :D

I dunno if this is the same video McHotchKiss posted because it wont work for me :(

DrownedMadonna.com has more details and some clarification now that the album shoot is done.

It was a long shoot and hundreds of photos were taken. They will narrow down in next few weeks. Most of the pics were closeups / waist up with black background. It was a subdued set.

The hardest thing to discribe is her hair. Madonna's hair pulled back in tight low ponytail. Her hair waved up on top to appear as though she has short hair. Someone could say almost True Blue updated with W.E. victory roll esque hair on top.

So, victory rollish wave on top. Hair off face. Someone would say, Rihannaesque, but absolutely more mature and not color. Sorta Harper's Bazaar cover esque on top but sides and back pulled tight back.

Madonna was wearing a very structured jacket with shoulder pads, which is white and not cream to be exact. As we said, very 80's look.

Someway, this new album shoot is sorta similiar to the amazing POP magazine shoot with Madonna with suit jacket on.

Also, Neoprene fabric swimwear has been called to set. Neoprime Bikini tops. Presumably to be used under jacket. But we have no more details on this.

CORRIGENDA: There were no noen colours. The sweats were not dark pink, but Pink was the brand. There was no color on set. Just a black background.

So overall it will be classic black and white photos close-ups: white jack on a black background. But do not misunderstood: the shots have been taken in color, but at the end they could be edited/manipulated as black and white.

From ONTD : 50 cent / Madonna - Girls Gone Wild

It seems that there is some big problem at Interscope to solve. 50 Cent announced first single from his upcoming album is titled Girls Go Wild. Interscope already revealed the release date (December 31th) and the artwork. But now 50 Cent is apparently mad about Madonna's track called Girls Gone Wild and does not want to release his leading single as of now.

"Man Interscope put out the single art saying its coming out on the 31st but its not coming out," 50 Cent tweeted today. "I'm not putting my album out till we are all on the same page."

"These people are gonna make kill one of them. Now Madonna's single(???????) is called GIRLS GONE WILD. This is some bull sh*t" 50 Cent tweeted a few minutes later. And he went further with this tweet: "This is nuts to me. I try to do everything I can to keep my cool you know what? If they don't care I don't care, I'm putting out a video now."

So I guess Girls Gone Wild is really a confirmed track from M's new album. What I don't get is why he's so pissed off. But I smell hyping for both him and M. They get along well with each other afterall.

Drowned Madonna :

BREAKING NEWS - According to The Hollywood Reporter, Madonna's new album will be released in March 2012, and Interscope Records and Live Nation Entertainment are expected to announce it today. DrownedMadonna.com heard a few weeks ago that it was planned for the first 10 days of March, as our community members know.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first single is called Gimme All Your Luvin (does this mean it's gonna be very different from the leaked demo?), and not Give Me All Your Love. And it is due out the last week in January.

"We anticipate a very bright future at our new home," says Madonna's longtime manager Guy Oseary in a statement being issued Dec. 15.

Adds Jimmy Iovine, Chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M: "Very rarely does an opportunity like this come around. We would like to thank Madonna, Guy and Live Nation for their belief in us."

Madonna's New Album Press Release. Gimme All Your Luvin is the title of the first single!

BREAKING NEWS - As announced, here is the official press release.

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Dec. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Madonna will have a new album out in late March, it was officially confirmed today by Interscope Records. In one component of a very broad plan developed by long time manager Guy Oseary and Live Nation Entertainment, the Material Girl has signed a three album deal with Interscope Records. The new album, her first in five years, has been completed. "Gimme All Your Luvin", the first single from the album will be released the last week in January prior to her upcoming Bridgestone Halftime Superbowl appearance on February 5th.

In 2007, Madonna signed a multi faceted deal with Live Nation that includes new studio albums, touring, merchandising, fan club/website, DVD's, music-related television and film projects and associated sponsorship agreements. "We look forward to a great partnership," commented Live Nation Entertainment's Chairman of Global Music & CEO, Global Touring Arthur Fogel. Oseary was equally enthusiastic: "We couldn't be happier to work with Jimmy Iovine, Lucian Grainge (Chairman & CEO, Universal Music Group) and the entire Interscope team. We anticipate a very bright future at our new home." Added Jimmy Iovine, Chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M. "Very rarely does an opportunity like this come around. We would like to thank Madonna, Guy and Live Nation for their belief in us."

In other Madonna news, her upcoming film, "W.E." which she directed and co-wrote is scheduled for a wide release on February 3rd.

Over the course of her extraordinary three decade career, Madonna has sold over 300 million albums and holds the record for the most successful tour by a solo artist in history. She is a nine time Grammy winning singer, songwriter, producer and is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee. Her last CD "Hard Candy" debuted at No. 1 in 27 countries including the US, UK, Canada, France and Australia.

Gimme All Your Luvin & Album - Rumors

Written by G_O_N_E

"I know we're drooling, WAITING for any bit of news we can get about the upcoming releases...So here is what I'm hearing. Again, this comes from a reliable source, but will all new albums, singles, etc, there's always information that is rumor or just false. My source has been very accurate thus far, but here goes...

-"Gimme All Your Luvin" single is basically the same version we've all heard, hence the major uproar it caused when it leaked. ALL parties involved were incredibly upset...and still are. Even when the clip leaked outside of Madonna's apartment...there was a lot of conversation around it. From what I know, the album version comes in at 4:43, while the version we all know and love is 3:25. A longer, cheerleading intro is now there, where both Nicki & M.I.A. are cheering back and fourth, taunting each other. They then join in, repeating the cheer we've already heard. Madonna's lyrics, vocals, etc are all the same...no changes here. M.I.A. apparently has a brief "rap" or "cheer" right before Madonna begins the second verse. Nicki also has a rap during the breakdown, and again, more cheering from both her and M.I.A. The production is no different. If you follow Martin Solvieg, "Big In Japan" was also extended, only including an extra chorus and an extended breakdown. I would love to hear a different version, but again, we've heard it before with Music, Candy Shop. Everyone claimed that they were different, more vocals, lyrics, production...but they weren't. The leak did in fact come from a 4 track CD with three other possible album tracks. According to fans who have it, those tracks are "Bang, Bang", "Girls Gone Wild", and "Masterpiece". The other tracks have been widely shared, but at this point, if any other leaks happen, it would not be good. The 4 tracks are not mastered, possibly why GMAYL sounds flat, and Masterpiece sounds distorted to some. Despite what audiences may have heard in theaters..."Masterpiece" does in fact feature a full on orchestra, which I confirmed last week, and Giampiero confirmed also.

-The album still has no title. I was told M, Mirror and MADONNA were all being thrown around. 30 years is a long time, new record label, and the first release with Live Nation...why not just MADONNA? This time around the idea was to wait until all artwork was complete before deciding on a title...we don't want Hard Candy/Give It 2 Me round 2. I've been told 19 tracks were recorded, some with producers who haven't been mentioned, and others who have denied their involvement. The project is very secretive. 14-15 are meant for release, with the others possibly being a bonus of some sort. Orbit is overseeing the main sound, just as Price did with COAD. There are multiple producers, and I've been told that even from that 4 song CD I mentioned earlier, GMAYL is the weakest track of the 4. It is a different sound for Madonna, mainstream and great for a performance...but not her best. The album features all Madonna vocals, including background. There was rumor of Donna and Nicki making an appearance, not true. Orbit has drawn out Madonna's voice similar to that of Ray of Light and Music. Masterpiece is an indication of the vocal production. Only Nicki Minaj is on the album a second time.

That's all I have for now! Again, LIKE IT OR NOT :D"

I'm wondering why GMAYL is chosen as 1st single whenit's the weakest track.
