Madonna's first single, Gimme All Your Luvin, from her upcoming album is impacting radio on February 7th, 2012, according to AllAccess.com. Well, apparently it is impacting two days after the Super Bowl Half Time Show and not on late January as announced on the latest press release.

this should premier it before shouldnt they so people recognise it? It should then be available to download after the superbowl performance?
I really do hope it's not on On Air/On Sale release, it'd be 50/50 whether it could work or not. Big stars like Gaga and Britney couldn't pull off an OA/OS release, though it did work for Rihanna with We Found Love. I guess it just depends which one Madonna falls into, I'd rather not risk it though, and just have a release with even just 2/3 weeks of airplay to build up hype.

Don't forget 4 Minutes had anon air on sale release and that did fine!.

Did it? :o I don't remember that, I wasn't fully following the charts though at the time.

The release schedule does seem bare though, I just had a look.

Major releases in Feb:

6th February

Kelly Clarkson - What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger)

Kelly Rowland feat Big Sean - Lay It On Me

13th February

Dappy feat Brian May - Rock Star

Alexandra Burke feat Eric Morillo – Elephant [27th Feb]

DJ Fresh feat Rita Ora - Hot Right Now [27th Feb]

Jessie J – Domino [27th Feb]

Tinchy Stryder feat Pixie Lott - Bright Lights [27th Feb]

----

Pretty bare. She should get number 1 even if she struggles tbh (if that makes sense?) The only number 1 threats here would be Elephant and Hot Right Now, maybe Rock Star. So if she releases late Jan/early Feb, she should definitely have at least one week at the top.

Yeah jo whiley played it on radio 1 on a monday morning and later that week (with no video) the song made #7. With the video's help it made it to #1.
On Ultra Madonna they are saying that the world wide premier is January the 15th!

^Drowned Madonna is also reporting release date as January 15th!

Madonna New Album and Single: Latest News on the Radio and Digital Release of Gimme All Your Luvin & More Newsbits

Besides what it's scheduled on AllAccess.com, according to DrownedMadonna.com, the radio and digital release of Madonna's Gimme All Your Luvin is still tentatively planned for January 15th.

We heard that, even though the melody is not so different from the demo that earlier leaked online, the final version of Gimme All Your Luvin is described harder, with a lot of bass and beats.

Last but not least, we heard that they are having some second thoughts about Masterpiece. Since it doesn't fit the album very well, they have some last minute doubts. Therefore, there are some possibilities that Masterpiece will not be included in the album. We have to wait and see.

That'd be perfect, we'd have a couple of weeks of airplay building up before the Superbowl!

And now you mention it about 4 Minutes, I remember listening to the chart and it randomly being number 7, I wasn't properly following music so I was really confused

I'm not too fussed when it gets released. She will be doing promo for GMAYL anyway.

Gosh! I suddenly feel the need to neck a big pink love heart pill! That, or get me a gram of the finest Mephedrone!

Naahhhh, I jokes! Very tongue in cheek album title, it's fantastic!
