October 6, 201113 yr I love Bilson portraying a surgeon even if it doesn't seem believable. I guess if I hadn't watched The O.C. before this one I'd have believed it.
October 7, 201113 yr Good move I say. After an original Ringer got a 0.6 this week I think the repeats could help. SYTYCD numbers weren't great but I guess a renewal is fair enough to say it's a summer show & unscripted so cheaper to produce.
October 8, 201113 yr Author How To Be A Gentleman has been moved to Saturday and the order has been cut from 13 to 9 episodes. BYE BYE.
October 8, 201113 yr Effective October 15th. TBBT repeat taking the time Thursday period next week, with Rules of Engagement taking it from October 20th. So we still have a scripted series on Saturday with original episodes, but it won't be as interesting to see the ratings now I don't suppose. Some form of contract deal must have been worked out, The Simpsons is renewed for two more seasons (possibly the last) bringing it up to 25 seasons and 559 episodes, officially the longest running [uS primetime?] scripted series in TV history. Despite not watching originals anymore, I'd still feel a bit strange when it eventually ends, it's just such an iconic show. Edited October 8, 201113 yr by Jáhq
October 8, 201113 yr It first started airing the year I was born. So if it ends it'll feel just like the death of me. :(
October 8, 201113 yr Author Yeah it's the longest running US season, the UK has had longer running shows.
October 8, 201113 yr Yeah it's the longest running US season, the UK has had longer running shows. True, but still incomparable really when British shows usually don't have more than six episodes per season.
October 9, 201113 yr Nikita scored a series low 0.5 18-49 on Friday so I imagine it'll be the first CW scripted show to be cancelled this year. I don't know what the episode order is, if it's 13 they'll probably see it through to the end, if it's 22 then they'll cut it back to 13 perhaps. Although I suppose with ratings all over the channel in such dire shape they might let it have a full season...
October 9, 201113 yr It's 23! It was given a full season order when renewed, and then later given an extra episode (along with Supernatural, and 90210 & GG getting two extra episodes). Can't deny that those numbers are terrible but it'll be a big shame if the order gets cut. Doesn't deserve to be the lowest rated scripted show on TV :(
October 9, 201113 yr Author I can see Nikitia getting a full run as they have no alternates. Plus, you'd have to be properly thick to launch a new show on a friday on The CW
October 9, 201113 yr They should've aired it in the place of H8R instead of scheduling a Ringer repeat. It would definitely be scoring 0.6 or above.
October 9, 201113 yr I agree, not that it really goes well with ANTM. Does One Tree Hill have a place to go at midseason, or does another show need to make way? Guess that could take the place of H8R, but they also have a couple of reality shows they could use to fill that gap.
October 9, 201113 yr Author I assumed that One Tree Hill would be used to plug the mammoth gap The CW usually has in the spring.
October 10, 201113 yr Has anyone watched Homeland? I just watched the first episode (the second one aired on Sunday), certainly the best Claire Danes has been in years.
October 10, 201113 yr Has anyone watched Homeland? I just watched the first episode (the second one aired on Sunday), certainly the best Claire Danes has been in years. Jark hates Claire Danes. He is a fool. 'Temple Grandin' was incredible and probably the best performance she'll ever do but I liked the pilot.
October 10, 201113 yr :D I'm glad my vitriol for that doughy-faced BITCH has become common knowledge. Her FEATURES are completely out of PROPORTION.
