November 18, 201113 yr ABC midseason schedule is out. 'Work It' to replace 'Man Up' (Tue 8:30) starting January 3rd. 'The River', Tue 9:00 from February 7th (until DWTS results come along March 27th). [Celebrity Wife Swap has re-appeared(?) and has this slot during January] As I thought, 'GCB' to replace 'Pam Am' (Sun 10:00) from March 4th. 'Missing' takes the Charlies Angels slot (Thu 8:00) from March 15th. [Filled by Wipeout in the meantime] I think 'Body Of Proof' has been given three extra episodes, I also heard that Pan Am will have 14 in total? No mention of 'Cougar Town'.. November 18, 201113 yr Has anyone heard about 'The B---- in Apartment 23'? The promo looks amazing, but I haven't seen a date for it yet?
November 18, 201113 yr Author Has anyone heard about 'The B---- in Apartment 23'? The promo looks amazing, but I haven't seen a date for it yet? Tuesdays 9:30pm, but I don't think we have a date yet. E4 have bought the rights for it.
November 18, 201113 yr 'Scandal' is also missing, it could get Tuesday at 10 if BoP finishes it's order before the end of the season. I don't see 'Work It' lasting long so either 'Cougar Town' or 'Apartment 23' could potentially slot in there.
November 18, 201113 yr Scandal is only 7 episodes so yeah I imagine it'll take Body of Proof's timeslot. That said Missing hasn't had much hype and could turn out to be an instant bomb so who knows. They should really move DH to 10 and put GCB on at 9. The DH lead in really isn't all that and it will probably be getting regular 2.6/2.7s by March.
November 19, 201113 yr Seems like Pan Am's extra episode isn't for certain after all: I have learned that Sony Pictures TV, which produces Pan Am, is yet to agree to the 1-episode offer from ABC and negotiations between the two sides about the fate of the show continue. So it will probably just be 13 then out. It's airing on Christmas Day, I don't know if that's unusual but I guess they want to increase the ratings for it in the hope people stick around? Also Cougar Town's order has been cut from 22 to 15.
November 19, 201113 yr That sounds strange, shows often break a couple of weeks before Christmas, nevermind airing on the actual day. ABC ran 'Transformers' last year which got a 2.3 with '48 Hours Mystery' being the only original which got a 0.9. It was a Saturday night though, and they're always dead. So yeah, I'm not really certain whether Christmas Day can be as big for TV in the US as it is in the UK, but they've got to slot in all the episodes somewhere and since it's not airing tomorrow..

November 19, 201113 yr What on earth are ABC doing with Cougar Town? They should have cancelled it in May.
November 19, 201113 yr They should have cancelled it in May. It gets good ratings! Much better than The Middle anyway and that's still going. Awake looks gorgeous. I love TV that's cinematic.
November 20, 201113 yr Cougar Town had worse retention from Modern Family than Happy Endings does at the moment last season. So definitely not better than The Middle. Still I really like the show and the only rumours about it are that ABC are considering pairing it with that hideous Tim Allen creation in March :(
November 20, 201113 yr Oh my GOD, Awake is so going to be my favourite new show of the 2011-2012 season! :o
November 20, 201113 yr Watching Ringer. Looks like proper CW crap. Stupid stupid plot. SMG can't act too.
