December 9, 201113 yr I thought about watching Enlightened but the reviews haven't been too good and the main character seems ridiculously unlikeable.
December 10, 201113 yr I thought about watching Enlightened but the reviews haven't been too good and the main character seems ridiculously unlikeable. Amy is amazing. She isn't likeable at her job, not as a character :kink:
December 13, 201113 yr 'Fear Factor' opened with a 3.4 for NBC, higher than anything else on the network this season apart from the first two episodes of 'The Office' and the first episode of 'Up All Night' (which followed AGT). Unless it drops big they'll probably like to keep it around. 'Once Upon A Time' still hasn't stabalized, reaching a 2.9 this week. Hopefully it rises after the break or at least remains steady.
December 13, 201113 yr Most new shows lose 25% so to go from 4.0 to 2.9 is fine really... but it needs to bottom out. That said I'm not too bothered either way, I've stopped watching and I doubt if I'll get back into it.
December 13, 201113 yr OUAT has dropped off in quality at the same rate as its ratings. It's a shame because there's a lot of promise which is just being totally underused right now.
December 20, 201113 yr Abysmal ratings it may have had, but Enlightened has been renewed! 'Hung', 'Bored To Death' & 'How To Make It In America' cancelled. 'Fear Factor' dropped an entire ratings point but it's 2.4 this week still looks good, for NBC that is.
December 20, 201113 yr 'How To Make It In America' cancelled. WHAT. OMG. I love that show and it gets better ratings than Enlightened. f***ing HBO! They've gone downhill anyway now, it's all about FX/Showtime/AMC on cable.
January 5, 201213 yr Has anyone dared to watch 'Work It' to see if it's really as bad as everyone says? It started out with a 2.0 which seems dreadful for an ABC comedy, have they got anymore to debut this season that haven't got a timeslot yet or will Cougar Town be returning in a couple of weeks?
January 5, 201213 yr Bill Lawrence is brilliant to follow on twitter through the whole Work It / Cougar Town saga.
January 9, 201213 yr Not so great news for 'The Firm' though, premiered to a 1.4 on NBC, that's lower than the now cancelled 'The Playboy Club' & 'Prime Suspect' debuted with. Ouch. We'll wait and see how it does in the timeslot premiere on Thursday but I think we've found a slot that 'Awake' could slot into (as long as that doesn't bomb too, hopefully not). edit: CBS numbers are scrambled but with a 3.0 for 60 Minutes/The Good Wife & a 2.7 for The Good Wife/CSI Miami, it should easily be a season high for TGW right? :D Edited January 9, 201213 yr by Jáhq
January 10, 201213 yr 'Scandal' premieres Thursday 5th April at 10/9c after 'Grey's Anatomy' with 'Private Practice' moving to Tuesdays at 10. 'Don't Trust The B**** In Apartment 23' takes the place of 'Happy Endings' from Wednesday 11th April. ABC must think a lot of both, getting the two biggest lead-ins that the network has to offer. Woo at The Good Wife, a 2.7 on Sunday, at least a season but possibly a two season high. Edited January 10, 201213 yr by Jáhq
January 10, 201213 yr Scandal is supposedly very good but I can't help thinking Private Practice is winding down to a series finale if they're getting rid of the Grey's lead-in. Even on Thursdays it only averages in the 2.3-2.7 region.
