Not too bad, about in line with the rest of the NBC comedies but it'll obviously drop off, likely even more from next week when American Idol is back.

At times it came across as a standard terrible laugh-track comedy but I actually quite enjoyed it, a couple of moments that triggered an actual laugh.

Alcatraz did well, a 3.3 which could be a nail in Terra Nova's coffin.

Only watched the first episode so far which did enough to hold my interest but it'll need to work hard to stop being just another procedural with one inmate per episode and becoming repetitive but the twist they delivered at the end was enough to ensure I check out the second episode.

Oh Fringe is SO GONE, I think what kept it going this long was probably the fact it was VERY GOOD (ie. a lot of critical love), but it doesn't even have that anymore. There was a report before Christmas that it's losing Fox money, so yeah I don't expect it to get a 5th season. They did say the conclusion won't be pleasing for the fans though, so they obviously thought there would be hope for more which seems like incredibly wishful thinking to me.

I'd like to see Terra Nova come back, the story finally seemed to find its way in the last few episodes of the season and the end left it open for a potentially very good S2. I won't be distraught if it gets cancelled though, they tried to be everything to everyone and ended up only partially appeasing a few.

Yeah, the exec in charge of deciding who gets canned and who gets renewed said they were losing money on Fringe. Fox for some reason do seem to adore it. If WB will basically give it away to Fox again it'll come back as they ain't got anythin else to put on a Friday. (Well, maybe Terra Nova and The Finder :heehee:)

On the plus side for me, that same exec also adores Bones and has been pushing for as many eps as possible this season, an has said if they can't air all they make then they'll roll over to next year. Hello extended season 8 ^_^

If House doesn't survive then that frees up some space. After all, NBCU keep pushin more of the cost onto Fox and Hugh isn't exactly keen to keep going.

Has anybody been watchin Hart Of Dixie??? I've just caught up with it and I am loving it so far. It's WB by numbers basically, which is a nice change from the usual CW trash. I suppose recycling the Gilmore Girls set helps with that, and the bar looks rather a lot like Merlottes outta True Blood.

Ringer on the other hand. My god. I haven't watched that since they killed the bff. How on earth that made it onto the development slate for CBS I will never know. It makes One Tree Hill look good, and I can't stand that w*** stain of a show. (If anything from the WB should still be on air, the Gilmore Girls and Charmed piss all over OTH from space)

I'm saving Hart Of Dixie up to watch it all once the series is over. I've heard very mixed things about it though.

It's bad. At least the first two episodes were and there was no incentive for me to keep trying. Trite stereotypes ahoy.

Hart of Dixie is good, I only watched 2 episodes though, waiting for the whole season to be aired as well.

And I just deleted the Against The Wall folder with all the unwatched episodes inside. Hate those bitches who cancelled it :(

I need to watch it, although the execs have confirmed pretty much it will be a procedural drama, so I dunno how much I'll like it.

Think Terra Nova's nail in the coffin moment will be what sort of numbers Touch gets.

You won't be disappointed, the 2nd episode is really rather good. I have to say if this stays and Terra Nova goes, I won't be sad.

Alcatraz is a PROCEDURAL drama?! I thought it'd be the next Lost or something, from the trailer.

DISAPPOINTMENT.

It's a procedural with a difference (then again, they ALL claim to be - much as I love them). For now the backstory or whatever you want to call it is interesting enough for me to stay. Also lets HOPE it isn't another Lost, the last thing I want is another 100 episodes of UNFULFILLING SHITE.

My roommate and I love Hart of Dixie  it's light comedy at the end of the day, nothing too deep.
I really enjoy Hart of Dixie. Yes it's a bit light, but there's enough going on to keep you invested.

But not the WILL. I tried, I really did. I even went and watched it through once it was over to get it all in 'perspective', but it just left me thinking 'IS THAT IT'.
