2.8 will still make it the highest scripted show on NBC for the week. If it can settle now that the people who tuned in last week to check out the hype have checked out it'll be sorted.

If I was a Alcatraz fan I'd be very worried. It hit a 1.9 last night while House was down to a 2.4 (even with what Bones did in it's delayed and unpromoted winter finale.) So it's probably a good thing they are killing it this year than have it falling down to 2.0 and bellow next year before being culled.

Does anyone watch Happy Endings? Watched the first two episodes last night and even though the pilot was hilarious episode 2 was a bit shit. Does it get any better?

I think Happy Endings is brilliant, it gets much better as it goes on though.

I'm halfway through season 1 and I also think it's fucking hilarious. Barb in particular makes me HOWL with how she just appears literally from thin air to give Jules advice on getting laid. :D

Barb <3 she is such a filthy woman, in a segment called "Ask Barb" on the dvd extras for season 1 there is a 'viewer question' of "whats the difference between

you and the Titanic" and she answers "only ten thousand went down on the titanic"

Hopefully it picks up when Glee finishes and when it's not on Valentine's Day.

It was a good episode as well...about to watch it again.

Network Primetime Averages 2011-2012 (Sun-Fri)

1. Fox - 2.86 (8.1m)

2. CBS - 2.82 (11.4m)

3. NBC - 2.43 (7.1m)

4. ABC - 2.16 (7.8m)

5. CW - 0.62 (1.5m)

Nights in First Place (Sun-Fri)

1. CBS - 52

2. Fox - 42

3. NBC - 20

4. ABC - 12

I calculated these myself and I think they're close to accurate, I'd hate to see NBC's results without football :P But they're looking likely to end the season at number 3.

Minus Football + Superbowl boosted Voice; NBC's average would be 1.64 (5.2m) :o.

Oh JESUS Cougar Town needs to pick up really fast. Argh. Why does this happen to everything that I belatedly get into?

Ringer down to a 0.3 last night. I don't usually celebrate a show crashing and burning like that but... :D

Holy SHIT that's utterly tragic, even for the CW!!! Hell CW show's repeat higher than that.

EDIT - The Hart of Dixie repeat that was Ringer's lead in got a 0.3 also with .7m viewers. Ringer had 1m viewers. Ringer is in cancel me now territory, and about time too as it's horrendous.

The lowest Hellcats got last year was a 0.7 I think and that was only in one or two weeks and it still got canned. How does a show on a main channel in America get less prime-time viewers than a show would get in the UK?

Hellcats was cancelled so undeservedly :drama:

I have no idea why they keep Ringer on. Like it's going to miraculously click with people. But I guess they think it would be a waste to not finish the season, after all the effort they've put into promoting and stuff...

I thought Hellcats deserved a second season. Even if it was only 13 episodes it would have been nice to have it properly wrapped up.

I've actually enjoyed Ringer. I stopped watching it for a while but I've caught up in the past week and find it quite enjoyable!

Anyway, Michael Urie (Marc from Ugly Betty) has been cast along side Sophia Bush in a new CBS pilot 'Partners'!

THIS. So very bloody annoyed it ended on a (small) Cliffhanger. The Bastards.

Ringer was adjusted up to a 0.4 (And HoD's repeat down to a 0.2) which still makes it first in line for cancellation

The Awake pilot is available online now two weeks ahead of its premiere. I just watched it and it really is excellent, probably the second-best pilot of the season (after Revenge of course). I worry though that it's too high concept/generally smart to succeed. It's also quite grim and dark which will probably turn some people off, I guess we'll see. The final couple of minutes was really quite epic, I can see myself becoming hooked on it very rapidly.

Exciting! I watched the trailer yesterday after forgetting how brilliant it looked.

Good news about Awake! Going to watch it at some point this weekend. I have the finale of Homeland to watch first though!

The only bad thing about Awake that you said Jark, is you've confirmed my fears. It might be too high a concept for non-cable TV, and I don't think any of the big four networks are ready for a LOST style drama to come yet.

HOLY HOLE. Just watched the this and what a wicked idea for a show. Goosebumps at that ending.

'Awake' was everything I had been hoping for! Captivating, beautifully shot and could easily compete with anything HBO/AMC/Showtime make. Brilliant pilot. I really hope NBC (with their shoddy ratings) keep it going for more than half a season.

Gutted for SMG if Ringer gets cancelled. Loved having her back on telly :(
