It really is going from strength to strength with each new episode. I'd rather it got a second season over Terra Nova (they'll probably just kill off both )

I don't suppose anything bothered following Pan Am to the end like I did? (I didn't watch E13 though because it was supposed to be aired much earlier and as a result introduced elements we had seen come and go in the interim). The series finale felt like it did a nice job as a finale for the entire show, which is a good thing of course since its very much dead. The coupling off was as obvious as it gets, but it was nice to see it happen. The reappearance and then subsequent disappearance of Bridget made no sense though.

I watched the first two episodes when they aired back to back on BBC 2, then they started airing it at really inconsistent intervals and on different days so I gave me.

I think the time changed weekly (it started at around 10 and gradually got later and later as they realised what a lame duck it was), but it was always on Saturday nights.

The Finder has dropped to a 2.0. Alcatraz and Terra Nova aren't the only ones completely fucked.

Ratings across the board are pretty shit at the minute (on the main channels anyway). So many shows have fallen at least half a ratings point from their average before Christmas. Grey's is down from averaging 3.6-4.0 to about 3.0-3.2. DH was on 2.8-3.0, now it's 2.0-2.4 territory. I wonder why so many people have stopped bothering?

Mercifully Revenge hasn't dropped below a 2.4 for a regular episode yet...

AI is down over a third from last year! When DST kicks in the ratings are going to fall further still. Not a good sign.

Cable seems to be doing well which could be hoovering up the 9/10pm viewers.

Could we do with another thread for pilot season? Quite a few are sounding interesting but Darius Campbell, the Scot who was on 'Pop Idol' when Will Young won, has been cast as the 'beast' in ABCs remake of 'Beauty and the Beast' so I'm suddenly hoping that gets picked up.

Yeah I think that's what happened last year. Bet the Darius Danesh forum is going mental right now.

Haven't ratings been down for a while now? Last week, I think just about every show fell in the ratings. Odd, cos I don't think there was much going on on cable that could have affected them that much. Wonder whether CBC will have a double comedy block on Thursdays next season, now Person of Interest has stablised in the 3s and will probably grow next season.

I read about Darius and I think it's HILARIOUS. I don't think the show will get picked up though. ABC are clearly looking for something to put with 'Once Upon A Time', but I think it may be a little bit too much personally...

Remakes seem to be all the range right now. Might be time to start looking for some new talent....

I don't know if ABC picking up 'Beauty & The Beast' will be fairytale overkill (especially with The CW also looking at a remake) or whether they'll pick it up because of how well OUAT is doing. With the Sunday 9/8c slot becoming vacant they could easily slot it in for a two-hour 'fairytale' block. I want it to get picked up just to see Darius, even if it fails and is 13 & out.

Some pilots are sounding quite interesting, mainly ABC & The CW. ABC have 'Devious Maids' starring Ana Oritz from Ugly Betty which could fill the slot left by DH too. The CW have a show that sounds a fair bit like 'The Hunger Games' so I'm very interested in that too and it could have a chance with them likely picking up at least three new shows.

HOLY MOLEY. TELL ME MOAAARRR.

Aimee Teegarden has hit the proverbial jackpot.

The Friday Night Lights ingenue has been tapped to headline The Selection, The CW’s Hunger Games-esque drama pilot that’s described as an epic romance set 300 years in the future which centers on a poor young woman who is chosen by lottery to participate in a competition to become the next queen of a war-torn nation at a crossroads.

Meant to be based on an upcoming series of books.

Fox are really starting to fuck me off.

Touch will be taking the post Idol slot from March 22nd, The Finder will have it's spring finale on March 8th to return at a yet to be determined date for the remainder of it's run (OH HAI SUMMER BURN OFF). The Alcatraz season finale is March 26th then the week after on April 2nd House is shunted back an hour and Bones will take the 8pm slot it aired in for the back part of the 3rd season.

As if Bones needed to be moved timeslots AGAIN. After 3.5 seasons on Thursday's it looked like Bones was finally given a proper home. 8 time slot changes for a show in it's 7th season is beyond retarded. Especially as it's rating have been growing year on year and they are now putting it against The Voice, 2.5 Men & 2 Broke Girls and The Bachelor. Seriously ridiculous choice to put what will be your longest running drama and best spring board for a new show next year up against two extraordinarily popular comedies and NBC's ONLY hit. Are you TRYING to kill it Fox?

The CW Beauty and the Beast is an update of the successful series with Ron Perlman and Linda Hamilton.

The ABC Beauty and the Beast appears to be a mystery adventure set in a mythical time and loosely based on the original fairy tale, La Belle et la Bete. It's supposed to be darker than OUAT. It's written by Johnathan Steinberg who is also one of its producers, as is Gary (?) Fleder who's directing the CW pilot!!

LUCY LIU has been cast as Doctor Watson in the Elementary pilot for CBS.

What an utterly absurd and ludacris piece of casting only done to avoid being an exact replica of the BBC version!

I guess I'm not a Bones fan but I quite like the FOX move. The Monday line-up hasn't done great this season and I'm wanting 'Touch' to succeed so I like how they've given it the post-Idol slot (which tbh, Bones could be doing better in imo).

Shawnda (or Shonda - you never know how crazy Americans would want to spell their names) in 2 Broke Girls latest episode.
