Scandal at 2.1 this week... might get adjusted down again like last week but this gives me strong hope that it will be renewed... (possibly at the expense of GCB though.)

YAY

but also a big fat :( at the same time. I do agree that it's looking more likely to be renewed than GCB but IT CANNOT POSSIBLY GET CANCELLED.

ugh GCB is so much better than Scandal, I'll be really pissed off if it gets canned. Scandal has been cushioned a lot better than GCB, that is a fact. GCB was doing nicely with a weaker lead in from DH, until they messed it up with the scheduling. In comparison, GCB has done better imo.

Not pleased at TVD and TSC hitting lows either, the latter is probably getting scrapped too :(

90210, Gossip Girl, Hart Of Dixie, Nikita and Ringer all rate lower than TSC. It's pretty safe unless it's ratings drop off a cliff to a 0.1 in the next two weeks.

Touch has plummeted to a 2.1 making Bones the highest rated drama of the week on Fox (Counting Glee as a comedy) with a 2.2. Not looking so hot for Fox with just House, Touch, Bones, Glee and New Girl breaking 2.0 this week (House being just a 2) aside from Idol of course. CBS seems to be the only network doing well. The early renewal for Bones is looking like a pretty good choice now that it's outrating House and the overhyped Touch.

The CW are in real trouble and tbh they could do a cull of most of their dramas, TVD, TSC and Supernatural being the safest ones. I can see them getting rid of either Gossip Girl or 90210, I've this feeling (more hope ) that Ringer is going to get renewed and Nikita getting cancelled with HOD on the fence.

Pretty confident 90210 ain't going anywhere. They should get rid of Gossip Girl but I reckon it'll get a final season. Hart of Dixie will stay, Secret Circle is a bit harder to call, and Ringer and Nikita are goners.

Their slate of pilots this season is a mixed bag but unfortunately the buzziest ones seem to be the least promising. Both Cult and The Selection sound great but there won't be room for both of them since Arrow and Beauty and the Beast are basically guaranteed pickups with the big name actors involved.

I think 'The Carrie Diaries' has a good shot at a pickup too but I really want 'The Selection'.

'The Secret Circle' hasn't got good numbers recently after TVD so I reckon they might get rid of it but it's getting moved at the minimum. But either that or 'Hart Of Dixie' are certainly going along with 'Ringer'. I'd hope for 'Gossip Girl' too but it's so getting at least a 13-episode final season. I love 'Nikita' so much but it's such a longshot. But what hope do they have with TVD possibly going below a 1.0 soon?

Forgot about The Carrie Diaries, that has to be a safe bet too.

Scandal adjusted down so it's a 2.0 for the third week straight. I really hope it somehow builds its audience even though that never happens.

Only a miracle can save Nikita at the moment. (best case scenario: 13 episode final season) We can only hope for a satisfying s02 finale

I read a funny interview where Maggie Q moaned about having *HER OWN SHOW* and still not being offered lead roles in films.

Poor thing. She won't have a show much longer either.

I can see Ringer being picked up for a second season. It's doing pretty well on SOS and if the producers of the show can sell a second season off of that, The CW will pick it up. TVD and TSC will go on for another season because they flow well into each other. I have a feeling HOD and Gossip Girl will go. On the fence with 90210. With OTH gone, The CW don't really have that big of a cull for next season. As far as pilots go, I'm expecting Shelter to be picked up. The CW have a history of working with Mark Schwahn and now with OTH gone, the fanbase will almost definitely move onto that show for at least the first half of the season.

If I were The CW, I'd wipe out half the line up. The Carrie Diaries, Arrow, The Selection, Cult and Beauty & the Beast, could all make the schedule.

It's probably not practical to do so but they should take a chance with fresh shows that could potentially fail, rather than scoring 0.4's next year  What have they got left to lose?

Besides the more shows they get rid of, the better the chance Gossip Girl will finally f*** off. I'd keep The Vampire Diaries, The Secret Circle, 90210, Supernatural and America's Next Top Model.

They should axe Next Top Model if they want to make a statement. It's trash and it's long past its ratings best - a 0.6 is pathetic. I think I just want Tyra's long overdue downfall to come sooner rather than later though, ha.

ANTM MUST STAY ON FOREVER.

Ringer is gone. No way on earth it comes back at all. It was pulling 0.4's in a first season! When you take into account the usual ratings slide between seasons that's gonna be on 0.1's by the end of season 2. Not even the CW can sustain that.

The SOS things don't mean shit. The 18-49 rating is what matters as that's what they use to sell adverts. They can get more money from a new show or by keeping literally any other show in their line up than from Ringer. It rates horrifically so the advertisers aren't going to pay very much at all for a slot and the CW haemorrhages enough money as it is.

ANTM I'm pretty sure has already been renewed. :(

It has. Hence why I kept it on my list. Personally, I wouldn't go for it.

Veep and Girls are both excellent. Well done HBO.

Mad Men, Game of Thrones, The Good Wife, Veep, Girls, and Nurse Jackie all in one night. Yikes.
